Adrien smiles. He is so happy that he and Marinette are back together.  They have a long road  ahead of them.  He is happier now than he has been in years.  He so glad that Marinette agreed to be his girlfriend again.  He only wishes they had never broken apart in the first place.  He knows it is useless to wish for such things, so he decides to be grateful for the here and now.

    Adrien kisses Marinette.  He does not notice as a sudden change happens to him.  The mask he has had as a part of him for so long has finally come off!  He just knows he is in love with his Marinette and is glad she still loves him after all this time!  The whole thing seems incredible like something out of a fairy tail!  

   "Adrien, I can see the scars on your face."  Marinette says.

    "You can?  How?"  Adrien says.

   "The leather mask it came off!  I am not sure when, but it did."  Marinette says.

   "Wow, this is great!  I know now that you can see my real face."  Adrien says.

   "Yes, and I admit I am surprised.  Your face has so many scars on it.  Way more than I could imagine!"  Marinette says.

    Marinette gently reaches up and kisses everyone of the scars on  his face. Then she does the same with the scars on his hands and neck areas.

    "I love you!"  Adrien says.

   "Good, because I love you too!"  Marinette says.
