Skylor's POV
We walked out of the train and right into a building, avoiding the screaming Capitol people.

Misako led us to an elevator and pressed a button with the number 12 on it.

"Every district has a floor,"Misako explained."Since you are from District 12, you will be on the last one."she added.

Soon after, we arrived on the 12th floor and Misako showed us around, then letting us to our rooms, which were opposite from each other, and Cole and Misako's were on the other on the floor.

"You can take a shower and get changed, after that come for lunch and we will talk about the welcoming ceremony,"Misako explained, then left me and Kai alone.

I entered my room and did as Misako said. I took a shower and changed, then walked to where Misako showed us is the dining room.

There saw Misako and Cole, along with a boy and a girl I do not know.

"Who's that?"Kai's voice sad from behind me. Unfortunately, he has came here right after me.

Misako got up from her seat, along with the unknown people.

"Kai, Skylor, meet your stylists,"Misako said, turning to Kai."Kai, you will be working with Seliel,"Misako said and the two shook hands. Misako turned to me."Skylor, you will be working with Lloyd,"Misako said and me and the blonde boy shook hands.

"So, let's eat!"Cole said happily, looking at the food. We all laughed.

After lunch, me and Lloyd walked to another room, where another three people were standing. Two women and a man. One of the woman's skin was green!

"Okay, Skylor, meet your prep team, Discortia, Zenobia and Austorian,"Lloyd said and I shook hands with them.

"Nice to meet you,"I said.

"Oh, dear, it's so nice to meet you too!"Zenobia said.

"Yeah! It was so brave of you to volunteer for your sister! I almost burst from joy!"Discortia said. So they are happy when we die for each other? I thought.

"You are free to go now, Skylor. We will be preparing you tomorrow for the opening ceremony,"Lloyd said and I nodded. After I excused myself, I walked back into my room.

The next morning, after I ate breakfast, my prep team took me back to the room from yesterday and stood in front of me.

"Now, remove your clothes,"Zenobia said.

"Excuse me?"I said, rising an eyebrow.

"You have to remove your clothes so we can pretty you up!"Discortia said happily.

"Ummm...Okay?"I said and started removing my clothes.

Once I was naked, like completely naked, they made me lay down on a table/bed thingy and then took some strips.

"What are you going to do with that?"I asked, pointing at them.

"We are just gonna get rid of your body hair, dear,"Austorian said.

Before I can say,"My body what,"needles-like pain shot through my leg and I almost screamed.

"It's okay, just a few more times and it will be done. You will get used to it,"Discortia assured me and I nodded, then felt the pain and almost screamed again.

A lot of pain later, I was done and have taken a shower, I was given a robe to wear so I won't be naked, even without my body hair. I have never felt my body like that. It's weird.

I sat in a chair, in front of a mirror and the three surrounded me.

Austorian took one of my hands and looked at my nails.

"Geez, what do you do with these nails, girl,"he asked and shook his head, then took our man-made plastic nails."This will do,"he said and started putting them on my nails.

Discortia started fixed my eyebrows and removed the hair above my upper lip, then put a little make up on me.

Zenobia started fixing my hair. She led it down and made it in waves, then put some black thingy at the edges.

"It will look like fire,"she had said.

When they were done, I looked at myself. I looked weird. Beautiful, but weird. Not myself, I thought.

I looked at my new nails and saw that Austorian had made a fire designs.

After the three left, Lloyd came back with a big clothes bag.

"You know that your clothes should represent your District, right?"Lloyd asked me.

"Yes,"I answered.

"And what does District 12 provide us with?"He asked.

"Coal?"I said, confused as to why is he asking me these questions.

He pointed his finger at me,"Exactly,"he said."So, what do you expect your outfit to be?"Lloyd asked.

"Something coal-related?"I guesses.

"Yes,"said Lloyd."But I don't like that. It's boring."he said."What does the coal do?"

"Burn?"I guesses. I am kinda annoyed by now.

"Yes. So, that's what I am focusing on,"said Lloyd.

"Yeah, I kinda got the hint,"I said, gesturing to myself.

"Close your eyes and remove your gown,"said Lloyd.

"Seriously people, what's with you and seeing people naked?"I asked, crossings my arms in front of my chest.

"Just do it,"Lloyd said and I sighed and started removing the gown, closing my eyes.

I heard zip sounds, then footsteps,"Hands up,"said Lloyd and I did as told, then felt fabric put over my body. He spun me a little and said,"Open your eyes."

I did as he told me once again and looked at the dress. It was black, made of light material, ending with flame theme at the end.

"Oh god, Lloyd,"I said, spinning a little,"It's beautiful,"I told him and looked at the boy."Thank you."

"No problem, Skylor,"said Lloyd,"Let's go now. The opening ceremony is starting soon."he said and guided me out of the room.
