Previously:

She walked. Walking behind his figure, picking up her pace. Noticing the huge gap between them. Her barely covered legs, trembled from the icy weather.

As soon as they got on track to their destination, Hinata and Sasuke jumped on top of the trees. Taking off, from tree to tree. Rushing by the cold and icy air.

Hinata and Sasuke walking in a slow pace, entered a small village. Known as the village of the sunflowers. Hinata smiling amazed, walked though their large gravestone path accompanied with Sasuke. Together they made their way through town, earning the many stares of the villagers. Small whispers amongst the villagers reached their ears, as they admire Sasuke's breathtaking looks from afar. Giggles and blushes could be heard and seen as they walk passed a group of gushing teenager's.

"A-A-Ano, U-U-Uchiha-san why are we here?" Hinata questioned, observing the village. Passing by a small bakery shop. She smiled as the delicious pastries invaded her nose. The warmth of the smell filled her with joy, as she turn back to see the shop. Ten no okashi,

"We're just passing by" Sasuke muttered, his voice monotone. Hinata nod her head, walking silently next to him.

"So, did you finally give up on that creature?" Sasuke asked, cutting through the silence that hanged over them. Shaking her head lightly, Hinata disagreed.

"I-I-I left him with a healer in a shop near a lake" Hinata mumbled softly,

"What?" Sasuke asked, stopping dead on his tracks.

"T-T-There's a shop near by with healers" Hinata explained. "I-I-I thought that I can drop him off while we look for our resources" Hinata clarified,

"Were not staying here longer than an hour" Sasuke stated coldly, looking at Hinata with his dark and empty eyes. "I'll leave without giving you any heads up, and I don't care if you have to go pick that damn creature up. I'm leaving because of the mission I was assign to"

"I-I-I understand, I just thought he'll need t-t-the proper care. He was injured pretty badly and I-"

"I don't care" He said harshly, suddenly grabbing her wirst "I'm just warning you Hyuga," He glared. "If you keep doing such repulsive actions, were going to have a major problem" He said venomously, tightening his hold. "Do I make myself clear?" Sasuke asked, eyeing her wide opal eyes. She bit her bottom lip, nodding her head slowly.

"I-I-I understand" She mumbled. Even after hearing her response, Sasuke continued to glare at Hinata with his cold and angry eyes. His hold on her, only becoming much harsher. "U-U-Uchiha-san, people are beginning to stare" Hinata voiced in a quiet whisper.

"Let them stare," He said in a deep and masculine tone. "I could give a living damn what they have to say about me, much less what they think of me" He said livid. "They're just weakling in my eyes" Sasuke voiced, "Besides if anyone dares lay one single finger on me, I could just simply kill them" Hinata flinched, "I could always say I was acting on self-defense" He claimed with a smirk.

"I-I-I don't think thats a great idea, U-U-Uchiha-san" Hinata spoke softly, wincing lightly. Feeling his nails penetrating through her skin.

"And why not?" Sasuke asked, coming closer to her. Challenging her with his dead eyes. Clearing her throat, Hinata muttered. "Hokage-sama won't be-"

"I don't give a living shit what that old hag has to say!" He said loudly. "Besides," His voice much calmer, as his smirk grew "If I do attack, you might be obligated to fight me. Which could turn out to be quite fascinating" He declared with a wide grin. Using his other hand to caress her cheek in a malicious way. "Who knows what can happen" He claimed malevolently. Hinata flinched under his touch, trying to put some distance between them to no avail.

"H-H-Hello" A small voice interrupted them, as Sasuke forcefully let his hold on Hinata go. His attention now on the figure in front of them. An inch smaller than Hinata, with medium wavy and yellow hair. She smiled shyly, towards Sasuke. Shifting sides, as she cleared her throat. Her cheeks stain a light pink. Sasuke raised an eyebrow at the girl.

"What do you want?" Sasuke asked harshly, eyeing the girl with annoyance. The girl flinched. Biting her nail, she used her other hand to hand him a small package with a sunflower on top. Her hands trembling, under Sasuke's cold stare. Hinata's eyes widen, seeing the small encounter.

"T-T-This is for you!" She stuttered softly, handing him the box with the sunflower with much confidence. Looking at Sasuke, Hinata saw him take the box from her trembling hands. As the flower slowly fell on the ground.

"I don't need your charity," He voiced harshly, shoving the box in Hinata's arms. Shocking both the blonde girl, and Hinata. Hesitantly, Hinata took it, observing the elegant red box. "Get rid of it!" He demanded sternly, glaring at the girl up front. He shook his head, shoving pass her. Pushing her down the ground. Filled with shock, the blonde girl fell. Her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. Leaving Hinata behind with the box in her hands, Sasuke left. I frown, seeing a few tears escape her brown eyes. Taking a deep breath, Hinata frown. Eyeing the tear shedding girl on the floor. Gently she bent down. Placing her hand on her shoulder. She flinched under her touch, as her eyes travelling from the ground to Hinata's opal and warm eyes. Smiling softly, Hinata reassured her.

"I-I-I promise I'll hand this to him for you when he's much calmer" Hinata said gently, retrieving her hand from her shoulder. Taking the fallen sunflower from the ground, placing it on top of the red box. "A-A-And this as well, don't worry" Hinata proclaimed, with warm eyes. Standing up, Hinata help the blonde girl stand up as well. Dusting her clothes for her,

"A-A-Arigatogozaimashita!" She said happily, bowing. Hinata nod her head. Patting her head, as a kind gesture.

"W-W-Would you like to join me and stop by a b-b-bakery shop near by?" Hinata asked timidly, "I'll buy you something as a gesture for my friend's behavior" Hinata explained,

"No, it's okay. It had nothing to do with you!" She exclaimed loudly, waving her hands back and forth.

"I-I-I understand how you feel, but let me a-a-at least do this so I'll feel better" Hinata declared, eyeing the girl's stubborn look. She stood silent, her arms crossed over her chest.

"Your not going to let this go, aren't ya?" She asked, mumbling under breath. Hinata shook her head, earning a deep sigh from the girl. "Fine!" She gaved in, dropping her arms to her sides. Her head hanging low. "Although I don't know why you should have to pay for it!" She voiced, pouting in a childish way. Hinata giggled, pointing to the bakery she was interested a few moments ago.

"Let's go," Hinata said, walking side by side with the girl next to her. When she suddenly, abruptly said.

"Is he always like that?" She asked, making Hinata turn over to face her somewhat angry face. Frowning slightly, Hinata bit her bottom lip.

"N-N-Not occasionally"

Looking through the sea of people in the Village of the Sunflower, Hinata happily greeted the elders. Bowing occasionally, with a bright smile plastered on her face. Often asking if they've seen a tall raven-haired man with a rather large brown poncho walking by. Receiving the same response over and over again, until...

"Oh, I saw someone like that walking down this same road," A small boy said. Pointing to the end of the road. "I-I-I think he was heading towards a smith shop near by" He explained. Smiling at the little boy, Hinata handed him some spare change before dashing off. Walking down the same road, she passed by a few shops. Earning occasional smiles from a few elders. Until, she came to a halt in front of a Smith shop. Her eyes scan the area, briefly inhaling. With two steps forward, she entered the rather large shop. Welcomed by dozens and dozens of variety of weapons. Large swords/katanas, arrows and bows, Kunai's and paper bombs. Her eyes widen in awe, before a deep and husky voice broke her state of amusement.

"Need help, princess?" Sasuke asked, viewing her figure. Hinata jumped slightly, shaking her head. Making her way towards him, Sasuke stood near a small table. Observing a katana in his hand.

"A-A-Are you thinking of b-b-buying that, U-Uchiha-san?" Hinata asked, coming near his body. He sighed deeply, shaking his head.

"I don't exactly know," He confirmed unsure, eyeing the object with intense eyes. As the seconds ticked by, Sasuke grew unsure and unsure. With ten minutes, of analyzing every motive both pros and cons he took his money out. Handing it to the Smith shops owner. Taking the silver, and handmade katana in his hands. Both Sasuke and Hinata, exit the Smith shop, as they once again walked side by side.

"W-W-We should get back to looking for resources" Hinata mumbled softly. "I-I-I think I saw a lady sell f-f-food for a very cheap price" Hinata declared, seeing the similar shops from before come into view.

"Let's go" Sasuke said, gazing up ahead. "Lead the way, Hyuga" He mumbled. Hinata smiling faintly, pointed towards a shop located near a tall wood building.

"S-S-She's located over there" Hinata claimed, pointing towards the shop a couple feets away.

/////////////////////////

"A-A-Arigatogozaimashita" Hinata bowed slightly, earning a small smile from the elderly women.

"It's no problem, dear" She weakly said, offering her a bag of fruits and vegetables.

"H-H-Have a good day mad'am" Hinata voiced softly, taking the bag as she waved a small goodbye. Walking away with Sasuke near by, with a frown displayed on his face.

"What kind of person doesn't sell tomatoes?" Sasuke mumbled under his breath.

"Huh?" Hinata asked softly, hearing him mumble something. "I-I-I didn't quite hear you, U-U-Uchiha-san" Hinata said,

"Nothing" He replied in a monotone, shaking his head. "Were leaving" Sasuke stated. "I'll go gather some water and other things" He said, "Met me at the gates in twenty mintues, I'm leaving as soon as time's up so you better be there on time" Sasuke warned. "Gather a couple of medical herbs, just in case" Sasuke voiced, checking through his pocket. Retrieving a far good amount of money, handing it to Hinata. "Here, this should be enough" He said. Shaking her head in denial, Hinata backed away. Waving her hands back and forth in a quick motion.

"I-I-I have enough, for the herbs U-U-Uchiha-san," She explained, "I-I-I'll meet you in gates in t-t-twenty minutes!" Hianta hurriedly said, briskly making her way away from him. Sasuke profoundly sigh, watching her take the opposite side as him. She's so stubborn!

////////////////////

Walking through every shop, and asking every passing by person Hinata inhaled greatly. Tapping the arm of a tall man in front of her.

"E-E-Excuse me?" Hinata asked softly, retrieving her hand. The man turned around. Facing Hinata with green orbs. His light brown hair pass his ears as he smiled gently.

"Yes?" He asked.

"D-D-Do you know where I c-c-can buy some medical herbs?" Hinata questioned. Earning a smile from him. Pointing to the opposite direction, he cleared his throat.

"There should be a herb stand nearby" He claimed, offering her a small look "If you'll like I can take you there" He asked, observing Hinata's state of confusion, which quickly dissolved to a look of apprehensive.

"I-I-It's okay!" Hinata cried out. "Arigatou Gozaimasu!"

//////////////////////

"Did you get the herbs?" Sasuke asked, eyeing Hinata who came soon after. Carrying her bag on back of her, the same rabbit as before with newly wrapped bandages and with her free and only available a bag.

"H-H-Hai!" She said, smiling happily. He rolled his eyes, standing up from the log he was seated in.

"Let's go," He declared, dusting his clothes off. "Give me the bag, I'll carry it" Sasuke ordered. Extending his hand towards her.

"I-I-It's okay, U-U-Uchiha-san!" Hinata exclaimed loudly, holding the bag tighter. Sasuke rolled his eyes, almost glaring at her.

"You'll only slow us down if your carrying this bag, your own bag, plus that," He explained, pointing hatefully at the creature in Hinata's hand.

"I-I-I'm sure I-I-I can handle it," She said in a pleading tone, a hint of uncertainty hiding behind her voice.

"Stop being so stubborn!" Sasuke shouted irritated with her lack of cooperation. Stalking towards her, he forcefully yanked the bag away from her hold.

"U-U-Uchiha-san!" Hinata cried loudly, frowning as she saw him determinedly hold the bag in his own pair of hands. She walked closer to him, tugging the bag from his hold. "P-P-Please I can carry it, j-j-just trust me eh?" Hinata asked tenderly, insisting with her pale and tint lavender eyes.

"No" Sasuke argued back, holding the bag much tighter. "Let's go before we waste any more time" Sasuke ordered, turning around from her.

"U-U-Uchiha-san, I'll carry the bag. You carry the rabbit," Hinata begged after a minute of silence.

"I don't wish to touch that furry thing!" Sasuke declared hatefully. Hinata, bitting her lower lip frowned.

"U-U-Uchiha-san," Hinata muttered, coming close to him. Sasuke turned around, facing her with cold eyes.

"What!" He yelled out, extremely angry for her insistence. His icy eyes averting from her begging face, to instead scanning the area. His patients growing thin by the seconds. Without actually meaning to, his eyes wandered off to a certain rooftop. Spotting a covered and moving figure. His eyebrow raised. Pushing Hinata aside, he moved three steps forward. His eyes never leaving the rooftop as he observed it carefully.

"U-U-Uchiha-san?" Hinata questioned gently. Worried for his sudden actions. Sasuke hushed her. Somethings not right, Sasuke thought silently. Looking around the village. Finding everyone quickly retrieving away. Closing their shops, as they enter their homes.

"Hyuga, scan the area." Sasuke ordered, his voice deep and demanding.

"I-I-I don't understand, is t-t-there something-" Cutting her off, Sasuke yelled harshly.

"Just do it!" He command. Hinata nod her head, activating her Byakugan.

"Byakugan!" Her usual soft eyes turned serious within seconds. Her white pupils becoming more distinct, as the veins near her temple bulge. She carefully scan the area, noticing every one hurrying inside their homes. The village now becoming deserted. She flinched when she noticed three figures on top of a rooftop. Fifty or more kunai's ready to be thrown. A small plate full of liquid near them, as they poured each and every kunai's on it.

"U-U-Uchiha-san I-"

"You see them?" Sasuke asked quietly, to which she nod in agreement.

"H-H-Hai!" She agreed.

"It's an ambush." Sasuke mumbled more to himself. "Hyuga get ready to block those kunai's, and for a possible fight" Sasuke explained, his eyes never leaving the figures. Slowly dropping his bag aside, along with his new bought katana and the grocery bag. Hinata seeing this, slowly and carefully placed the rabbit in the ground along with her own bag. Deactivating her Byakugan, Hinata stood still eyeing Sasuke. "Try not to get hit, those kunai's seem to be-"

"U-U-Uchiha-san!" Hinata yelled, pushing Sasuke away from a flying kunai. Quickly and efficiently dodging it. Turning to look at Sasuke, she worriedly observed his body. "A-A-Are you okay, Uchiha-san?" Hinata asked. Sasuke nod his head, standing up from the ground.

"Yeah" He confirmed,

"I-I-I'm glad" Hinata said with a small smile, Sasuke rolling his eyes frowned. Activating his Sharingan, he cleared his throat.

"Just worry about yourself for-" Sasuke begin to say, only to stop. Sensing a rapid object, he look ahead of Hinata. His eyes widen, seeing many daggers coming forth in a rapid speed. "Get out of the way you idiot!" Sasuke exclaimed loudly. Hinata, eyes filled with confusion turned around. Seeing the flying daggers heading towards her. Her eyes widen. Briskly getting into stance, she re-activated her Byakugan.

"Hakkesho Kaiten!" Hinata yelled, releasing chakra from her body. Spinning rapidly in order to avoid the attack. Creating a shield of blue chakra around both her and Sasuke. Tossing away all the kunai's thrown their way. Slowly as the kunai's begin to slow down, and they suddenly came to a halt she stop her attack. Breathing in heavily against her chest, as she inhaled profoundly.

"I-I-I don't understand" Hinata said between gasps. Sweat trickling down her forehead. "W-W-Why are they doing t-t-this?" She asked, confusion fogging her pale eyes.

"Hell should I know," Sasuke exclaimed, sensing another round of kunai's coming their way. "Get ready," Sasuke declared, taking a single kunai out.

"O-O-Okay" Hinata said weakly, getting into stance. Gathering her chakra she bit her bottom lip.

"Why are you so exhausted?" Sasuke asked suddenly, eyeing her exhausted figure. Hinata frowned, sighing deeply.

"I used some chakra earlier" Hinata proclaimed softly, "There was a little girl getting mistreated and I-I-I thought-"

"Your really pathetic," Sasuke stated lowly, rolling his onyx eyes at her. "Leave this to me" He declared deadly, seeing the kunai's being launched. Getting into a similar stance as Hinata, he spread his legs a bit wider. Pulling his kunai closer to his face while taking another one from his back punch. His eyes glowed dangerously red. With fast speed, Sasuke dodge all thrown kunai's. Deflecting them away, with two simple kunai's. Metal hit Metal, with many clicks as they all fell around them.

"Come out!" Sasuke hollered. Eyes burning with annoyance. "Stop playing child's play, and show your god damn face's." Sasuke threaten, taking two steps forward. Everything was silent, except the whistling wind passing by. The leaves danced around the chilly air, along with a few sunflower pedals. The air moist.

"Heads up" A loud penetrating voice said, earning the attention of both Sasuke and Hinata. They watch in horror as a large bow was sent flying in a fast speed towards them, catching them both off guard.

They watched, as in slow motion the piece of metal sliced through light skin, digging straight into their stomach. Crimson liquid spreading across their shirt. Blood pouring out, as another kunai came rushing in. Piercing their right side, the ripping of skin echoing the village. As the sounding of a body hitting the floor with a loud smack and enough force filled the empty air.
