The hunter's fortress trembled like never before as Temari, Ino, Sakura and I rushed down numerous hallways in order to backtrack to find some sort of exit out of this place.

I made sure to lead Hinata's friends down hallways that were not littered with dead bodies which were severed and humiliated by the hands of either Naruto or me.

I didn't want to traumatize the teenage girls any further than they already are. Now, these girls deserve to leave this place and seek safety back in their own homes.

The fight that's raging on inside this very building should no longer concern them given their goal has already been met.

Hinata has been found.

Their friend is now safe.

My brown eyes trailed down to the midnight blue haired girl that was currently lying within my arms, still fast asleep and currently experiencing a dream of peace.

A smile of content was present on her lips which let me know Naruto's spell was indeed still in effect which lets me know Naruto was still in good health.

I glanced up at the walls around us and took note of the signs that were there.

So I did what I must have and afterwards, we were off once more, rushing down the hallway to make it even closer to the exit of this place.

Now we ran down a hallway where no hunters were found littering on it which tells me most hunters that are in this place have taken their presence on higher floors where Naruto is most likely currently.

That leaves the five of us in the clear so we quickly made our way down the hallway and onto the last and final floor.

Our foot falls were harsh as they connected with marble floor, white walls ranging on beside us and in front of us which was a sight we all were getting very tired of seeing.

The color white was beginning to grow sickening to look at it for it only reminded us of this place and the horrors that lie within it, the horrors that has caused Hinata to suffer immensely and horrors that caused Naruto to fly completely off of the handle.

We wanted nothing more than to leave this place and never look back.

But if that was so and Naruto is indeed unscathed within his battle against the demon hunters, why am I overwhelmed by so much dread?

I was so confused by current events but the teenage girls around me were even more confused. They stared down at me in shock, their eyes switching from me to Hinata and then back to me.

Temari swallowed nervously. "Wh-What do you m-m-mean something has happened to Naruto? H-How do you know-"

"If you really want to know, I'll be glad to tell ya."

A new voice arose within the very hallway we stood in which caused me to snap my head away from the floor to place my hooded eyes onto the newcomer that was in front of me.

My brown eyes widened to see another hunter stand at the very end of the hallway, directly in front of all of us.

The voice that previously echoed across the hallways to address Temari's comment was deep and masculine which only tells me the hunter was a male. Such a statement was full of confidence but I felt a hint of pure hatred coated within such words as well.

Within one of the hunter's hands, lay a red triple bladed scythe which looked to be larger than the hunter's own body. The weapon the hunter wielded was massive and was definitely one that should not be underestimated. The male held the base of the weapon, gripping the long end of it tightly to his person.

But I was not worried about myself..

Oh no. Not one bit.

I worried more for Hinata and her friends.

They shouldn't be here. It's too dangerous.

I gritted my teeth, my brown eyes narrowed upon the hunter before the four us who began to take a steady stride forward, a smug grin rooted on his face. The crazed hunter began to laugh in between his words as he steadily walked forward, drawing nearer to our stiff farms. "Luckily, I decided to stay on the first floor. Which I did so, to await any trespassers who tried to make their way back to the exit of this place. And long and behold, here you are, trying to escape. Lucky for me, you even brought me a present!"

Now that the hunter was beginning to walk closer, I could now see the male's features exactly.

The male had a full head of silver hair, all strands smoothed down to lie flat upon his head. The male wore the same hunter's coat as every other hunter did here as well, with the same red design with the white clouds imprinted all upon it.

His skin was on the tan side and his height was quite immeasurable. But nothing could beat the amount of hatred that was currently oozing off of his being and flooded this very hallway which raised the tension within the area.

The teenage girls behind me whimpered in fright at the sight of the hunter that steadily made his way forward, all the while dragging his weapon upon the floor. By doing such a thing, a loud and agonizing screeching noise interrupted throughout the entire hallway, echoing on and on for miles.

The male hummed, tilting his head as his eyes landed on the girl that lay unconscious within my hold. At the sight of Hinata unconscious, his abnormal purple eyes lit up and there, on his face a crooked smirk formed.

The hunter's words were nothing but pure evil and not only that but by using such words, he has declared war on me. By stating he wants to kill Hinata, he is also stating he wants to kill Naruto as well as me which will be the last words that passes his lips.

I will make sure of it.

With a growl, I finally pulled myself up to a stand, all the while gripping Hinata tight to my chest.

Now, I glared daggers down at the hunter who was slowly inching his way closer and closer in order to close the distance between us. I snarled. "You will not go anywhere near the human girl. I won't let you." I spat out before turning my body toward Temari who stood on my left side.

In a quick stride, I pulled Hinata's body towards her in order for her to hold, to empty my hands so I was free to fight. "Here, take Hinata and run. Just go as far away and find a place to hide. I'll take care of this."

Temari nodded fearfully upon my words before moving her shaky hands over to grab Hinata out of my hold. She pulled one arm underneath Hinata to get a hold of her back. While her other arm swiped underneath her legs to hold her there as well.

So from there, Temari pulled Hinata away from my hold to instead take her within her own arms, setting her bridal style within her grasp.

She nodded at me soon after. "W-We will. We will be sure to keep Hinata safe. And we trust you to take care of this." She responded back with full confidence, verbally stating that she was putting her faith within me to take down the hunter. I felt grateful to be believed in so strongly.

I nodded at her, smiling brightly. "Thank you. Now go on. I'll find you after." I declared quickly and I watched as all three girls nodded before they left the scene, picking up their feet to run down the hall.

I watched them as they did with a smile of relief on my face but such a smile instantly vanished once I spotted the girls barge into an invisible wall that was located just a few of inches down the hall. Upon barging in the magical wall, the girls were then pushed back into the danger zone, a place they desperately wanted to escape from.

Immediately the girls began to panic, nothing but a cluster of their voices springing about due to the fact that they can not in fact escape.

My eyes widened at the sight of the barrier that was placed within this very wall which was keeping the teenage girls as well as Hinata and me hostage, my breathing increasing upon the sight.

Oh no.

Oh fuck no.

A loud cackle erupted from behind me which instantly caused me to whip my head around, only to be met with the crazed silver haired hunter from before, located just a few steps away with his gigantic sword rooted by his side.

His head was tilted back as he relished in the amusement he felt upon the sight of us learning that we all were in fact trapped to remain within his presence, Hinata included. He felt amusement that we now know that running or escaping was not an option. He felt amusement to see the fear, panic and shock cross our faces.

The silver haired male hunter hummed, before moving his sword forward to point it directly at me. There, I saw firsthand how the crooked smirk he placed up before remained rooted in his face. It never even left.

"Oh you didn't think I would actually allow you rug rats to leave, eh? Hah, how idiotic do you believe me to be? Due to the fact you three weaklings have sided with demons, I will make sure you suffer right along with them as well as your precious friend." The silver haired male tilted his head eerily, giving off vibes that he was very insane and was certainly an opponent that should not be underestimated.

He chuckled, his purple eyes zeroed in on the three girls behind me who expressed fear at the sight of the hunter who threw threats their way. "I want all of you all to watch as I tear apart your precious demon friend as well as the friend you so foolishly pledge your allegiance to. I will make you regret here and now for ever stepping foot within this place of hopes of saving your cursed friend. You all will fall here and now, and once I am victorious here, the mighty Naruto will fall as well, once and for all."

The male's voice worked like thunder, ricocheting off of the walls to flood inside of our ears and jumpstart our hearts.

Due to my keen ears, I could pick up how quickened the young girl's breathing had become due to fear. The three teenageers behind me were now trapped, submitted to watch the battle against me and the hunter, submitted to remain within the danger zone, a place where I did not want them to be. They were now scared out of their minds, the speed of their hearts was a dead giveaway the three girls were terribly frightened.

In this moment, I regretted ever bringing those defenceless girls within this place.

They really really shouldn't be here.

I cursed in frustration, my red slitted eyes narrowed upon the crazed hunter before me, my hands clenched into tight fists.

I cursed once more, absolutely hating how events have turned out. And not to mention, I was still quite concerned about the condition Naruto was in. Naruto was most likely in trouble and now I cannot even come to his aid, even if I wanted to.

I have to now take down this hunter before me and do so quickly.

I lowered my head, breathing out a deep breath to prepare myself for the battle that's awaiting me.
