I pried my eyes open. My vision was blurry, but soon cleared up. I was laying on the ground. My hand was in front of my eyes. From what I saw, my daylight ring was missing. I heard a song in the distance. I couldn't make out what it was. I sat up. My head starting pounding with the slight movement. I quickly sat up against the wall and realized that the room I was in was full on cement. I looked to my right and saw what looked to be a cell door. Bars.

"Love," I heard Klaus' voice from the other side of the wall. "You're awake,"

"Klaus? Where are we?"

"The infamous Augustine,"

"Augustine?"

"Augustine is a bad, bad place for normal vampires, darling."

"They've never had an original before?"

"I'm not sure."

"What will they do to us?" I asked, coming to the cell door to see him. I barely got to see his worried face.

"I'm not willing to stick around to find out,"

Just then, a scientist interrupted us.

"Good afternoon, lovebird." He paused and glanced at his chart. "Klaus Mikaelson and Lily Anderson. Correct?"

"Why would we answer to you?" I snapped.

"Careful, love." He smiled. "Call me doctor Landon."

"Well, Landon, I appreciate the small talk, but I need you to let her go. She has nothing to do with Augustine." Klaus tried.

"Yes," He took another glance at the clipboard then met his gaze. "But then again, you don't have anything to do with Augustine either. You see, Augustine is all about finding new vampires. Especially ones turned from an original. We can always learn from them."

"Don't hurt her. Do you hear me?" Klaus threatened. "Or I will personally tear every limb from your body then kill all your family members while you're sitting there in that very spot, suffering."

"Tempting," Landon did not seem bothered by anything he said. "Don't try anything, love, or I'll kill your boyfriend over here." He said unlocking the cell door.

"Don't take her. Remember this threat. I'll hold myself up to it if you take her," Klaus threatened even more.

"No thanks, hero." Landon smirked and escorted me to the room. "Lay on the table please,"

I did what he said in order to keep Klaus safe. I heard Klaus trying everything possible to pry the cell gates open, but it was lined with vervain. He was yelling and screaming in frustration and pain. I knew that Klaus had his ears sharp in order to hear what he was doing. He wanted to make sure that I was ok.

"Klaus, it's going to be ok." I whispered. I sharpened my hearing in order to hear anything he had to say.

"Hold on, love. I'll get to you."

"Just stop it. I'll be fine,"

He didn't say anything back. I heard him sit down against the cement and hit the floor and yell as hard as he could in order to let all of his anger go.

The doctor chained me up with chains lined with vervain. I didn't scream or yelled, I silently cried because I knew Klaus was still listening.

"What are you going to do to me, doctor?" I asked trying to stop the tears.

"Be silent, little lamb. You are going to be tested for multiple things. First, wolf poison. Let's just see where this goes,"

I silently flinched at the thought. He picked up a needle then paused at my voice.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked.

"It's simply for science, sweetheart." He smiled.

"Please don't do this. You don't have to-"

"Darling, I want to do this."

He stabbed the needle into my vein and pushed the poison into my system. Automatically, I started to feel dizzy. My left arm (where he inserted the poison) started aching with pain. The pain grew, fast. I started sweating like crazy within minutes.

"I'll be back with your boyfriend," I barely heard through all the whispering and voices of my dead loved ones.

My father echoed in the distance.

"What have you done?"

"N-nothing," I mumbled. "I swear, father."

"Doesn't look like nothing,"

"I haven't hurt anyone." I began to cry.

And then my mother came by next to my father.

"Mom?"

I tried to yank myself free. I began to grow hungrier and hungrier. All of a sudden, the door opened. It only felt like seconds. Someone approached me, but I couldn't see who it was. I turned into a vampire.

"Blood," I said through my fangs. "I need, blood."

For only a few minutes everything went normal. I still felt pain, but I turned back and I could no longer hear voices. Klaus was tied to a chair with vervain ropes. I barely had the strength to look at him. I saw his eyes. He was in pain. He could never bare to watch me in pain.

"What is the cure for wolf poison?" The doctor demanded. "Or she dies."

"Don't..t-tell him," I pleaded through the blood spewing out of my mouth.

"It's my blood," He mumbled.

"That would make sense, because being a true, original hybrid and all," The doctor rambled.

"Help her," He said, in a threatening tone.

I coughed up more blood.

"NOW!" Klaus now demanded.

"Ok, ok." Landon said.

The doctor drew blood from Klaus and stabbed it into my arm in the same place he stabbed the last one.

The black veins now cleared up and I felt better. But I was still hungry. Really hungry.

"Thanks for your cooperation." The doctor said.
