"What do you think you just did!? " Jessica came running inside the kitchen after hearing the noises.

"See, Jessica, now you can kill me but I can never forgive Mary. She converted you, Percy and other innocent people. She had a really horrible plan." Lucas said with hatred.

"Oh, Lucas, you don't know what a good job you did! We had to follow her rules because she threatened to kill us. Or we would have never agreed to her plan. I am so happy that you did this!" Jessica ran and hugged Lucas.

"I am so happy that you are not furious at me. I really thought that you all will kill me after I do this, " Lucas sighed with relief.

"I'll immediately tell this to Noah and Percy!"

"Wait! Won't Noah will be mad?" Lucas asked.

"No, he is with us. In fact, he and Percy were making some plan to stop Mary. None of us was on board with her!" Jessica admitted.

"That's so great! But I have a problem. Shirley thinks that I betrayed her. And I am quite sure she is making some plan to take revenge."

"What? Why?" Jessica cried.

Lucas told here everything. That how he did all this just to gain Mary's trust and kill her.

"Then we should immediately go and clear things with Shirley!" Jessica blurted.

Lucas nodded and they both went to the living room where Percy and Noah were sitting and talking silently as if they do not want to be overheard.

When Jessica and Lucas stood in front of them, they looked up and Noah stood up immediately.

"What are you doing here?" Noah snapped.

"Woah calm down!" Jessica gushed. "He killed Mary!"

"What?" Every eye turned at Lucas.

"Yes. He killed Mary!" Jessica repeated.

"But how?" Noah whispered. His mind was somewhere else. He ran to the kitchen to make sure.

After a few minutes, he came back. He was really happy as well as shocked.

"That's so awesome! I can't even believe my own eyes! We are finally free!" Noah exclaimed.

"And now, I have to clear things up with Shirley. Will you guys come with me?" Lucas asked.

"Of course we are coming. That's what best friends are for. Helping you in all situations!" Jessica reassured.

"What happened? Can anyone tell us too?" Percy asked.

"We will tell you on our way. This is kinda emergency!" Lucas said. He pulled his car keys from his pocket and exited the house.

"Wait a moment!" Jessica stopped them and went back inside.

"Guys! You all are free now! Just don't attack any human and keep your identity a secret!" Jessica told the other vampires.

They all nodded and Jessica settled down in Lucas's car and they drove toward the house in which the normal people we're present. On their way, Lucas told Noah and Percy everything.

As soon as they stopped in front of the house, they were greeted with a strong smell of garlic.

"Uff! How can we go inside now?" Jessica moaned as her body felt burning sensation?

"Wait a moment!" Lucas took out his mobile phone and dialled someone's number.

"Hello, we are here. Can you please bring Shirley outside?" He spoke and ended the call.

After some time, the door of the house opened and the officer stepped out along with Shirley.

"What are you all doing here? Want to convert me as well? But I won't let this happen" Shirley showed them the pieces of garlic she held in her hands.

"Wait, Shirley, we are not here to convert you. We just wanted to tell you that Mary is dead!" Lucas told her.

"What? How can I believe you? This can be another trick!"
