Anthony bit his lip as he eyed every surface beneath him, trying to find different buildings they could search inside of.

He quickly looked at himself, he hadn't admired his body in so long. He sighed to himself, did this all happen for some sort of reason? Was this all a plan? They still had their gowns on, which would obviously make them look like runaways, well.. they were. He had to find clothes, but that wasn't the objective right now.

Anthony sighed lightly and pulled his hand from Ian's, seeing his eyes fill with shock.

He paused to stare at Ian's face, he'd never been so close to an angel before. The eyes were as pale blue as ice. If he could see, they would be the prettiest of bright blue lilac. Ian was surprisingly still, just calm and curious.

Anthony could never imagine having so many terrible things to live with. Ian wouldn't be able to experience anything the way Anthony would.

He inhaled in a sharp breath as he felt the crisp air becoming cooler. He examined his surroundings, seeing the sun filling with orange, yellow and many other mixtures of colors. The sun was setting, which meant they desperately needed shelter, but most importantly, food.

He had so many things on his mind, it was so motivating yet so stressful at the exact same time. Anthony heard a familiar sound, the feeling of ice cold wetness hitting his matted hair.

He looked up slowly to see dark clouds staring back at him, the purple and grey colors mixing to form the worst nightmare of the two boys. Scratch that. Shelter was the number one priority at this very moment.

Anthony quickly grabbed Ian's hand, feeling Ian flinch within the touch. Anthony pulled Ian around, darting his eyes side to side to find something to lay underneath, if they were gonna be hobos at this point, fine. All he needed to do was protect this angel from heaven.

Anthony felt a couple droplets hit his head, causing his eyes to follow Ian. He looked terrified as he felt the droplets topple onto his face, his pale eyes darting side to side, desperately confused to what was being dropped onto him.

Anthony gently reached over to pull Ian to his chest, his arms wrapping around Ian's waist, making sure to be as gentle as possible. "Don't be afraid.. just.. feel my heart beating, it's beating for you.." Anthony whispered, closing his eyes as large amounts of droplets began to wet their gowns.

Anthony furrowed his eyebrows as he felt Ian gently press his ear closer to Anthony's chest. He smiled, it's almost as Ian could hear him. But Anthony knew better than that.

Ian felt his heartbeats, they were vibrating his head. He felt calmed by them, everything was confusing him. He'd never been so calm with someone he absolutely didn't know whatsoever. Anthony was grateful, but the confusion still lingered in his mind.

The water made them both shiver, Anthony comforted Ian as he continued to look side to side to look for anything, to rest under.

He suddenly gasped as his eyes landed on a bus stop bench, the plastic covering. He quickly pulled Ian across the empty street, Ian stumbling behind from the rain covered street.

Ian eventually slipped and fell, his eyebrows furrowing and his eyes closing. Anthony cooed weakly and ran over to him, sliding his arms beneath Ian's knees and his back, picking him up like a baby.

He carefully walked across the small distance that they had stopped from and stepped onto the curb.

The bench was damp, but it was perfect. Anthony sat down, his arms gently wrapping around Ian's waist, looking around. They were young, very young. But Anthony was strong, though he looked dark and not that social. He was determined, he was smart and brave. Ian was like a challenge, to test his faith. He would never give up on him though, because Ian was more than that.

Ian lay limp in Anthony's arms, like a small rag doll. Ian let out gentle breaths, his eyes slightly opened and his lips parted so the edgy breaths could exit smoothly. Anthony listened to the rain, the gentle droplets slapping the cement with harsh hatred. The water sprinkled the grass, thunder echoed the city and lightning lit up the sky.

Anthony loved the storms, they made him admire nature much more than he should have. He would always sit in the window sill, watching the rain hit the window and create small smudges of droplets. But then, well.. his eye became blind. Nobody actually knew how it stopped allowing him to see, but who knew it was for the best?

Anthony pulled Ian closer, leaning back to allow Ian to lay down.

Anthony was a different person back when he could see with two eyes, he saw everything with one perspective. But now that half of that is gone, everything has become so much more intriguing. Including, Ian of course.

He learned to do so many things he couldn't before. But then he was taken to the hospital to get his eyes checked, which of course didn't end up happening.

But that all leads up until now. The childhood isn't as important right now.

Anthony was curious about Ian's childhood, how did it all become this way? Blind, mute, deaf? Three senses, useless. Anthony shook his head in defeat, one blind eye was nothing compared to Ian.

Anthony thought for a moment.

What if he got enough money to let Ian get eye surgery? Anthony grinned to himself, imagining Ian see every color of the rainbow, see every part of nature involved in this world. He wanted to show Ian light, not darkness. He wanted him to experience things like he did.

Anthony nodded to himself, closing his eyes. "That just might be the best goal I could ever achieve." Anthony murmured proudly to himself, the want to show Ian everything was his true goal. He wanted to show Ian the sun, the grass, the animals, flowers, everything. He wanted to show Ian that he was a good person, someone he can trust.

Anthony held Ian's hand again, Ian let out a sharp breath as his hand gripped Anthony's back. He gently touched around Anthony's hand, examining the definition and the feeling.

Ian declared that his way of remembering the man who took him away. Ian suddenly turned around and ran his thumb across Anthony's face. Anthony smiled, his eyes closing as Ian's hands examined different parts of Anthony's face.

Ian rubbed Anthony's hair while he fiddled with his butt shaped nose. Ian nodded in response as he began to remember the feeling and the shapes of the different inches of his face. Anthony chuckled under his breath, which caused Ian to blush as he felt the movement.

Ian gently touched Anthony's lips, his eyebrows furrowing. They were soft and small, Ian smiled slowly.

Anthony grinned widely as Ian's fingers gently traced the outline of Anthony's lips. Ian quickly brought his other hand to his own lips to feel the plump pink softness that he owned himself.

Ian quickly grinned and pulled both of his hands away before rubbing his lips together, gently laying his hand on Anthony's cheek.

Ian was curious. It's like a sense that he already knew, his lips were meant to connect to this mans lips.

He felt excited, happy, joyful. It was his first time feeling this happy and he loved it.

Ian slowly laid his other hand on Anthony's cheek, feeling the gentle, young peach fuzz rubbing against his fingers.

He slowly closed his eyes, leaning forward and pressing his lips to Anthony's, not moving one inch.

Anthony sat there, wide eyes.

How could Ian possibly know about kissing?
