I've walking for a week now, but only gone through half of my food supply, which is good and bad at the same time. This is good because, with extra food I can keep walking for long if need be. This is bad because, this journey back has been longer than Ermus predicted, which means I could be walking for much longer. Well, that, or I'm just a really slow walker. Luckily I haven't run into a situation where I needed to use the golden apple, and I hope it won't come to that.

~Magic Time Skip to Sundown~

The soft orange sun had begun to set, and I had set up camp right outside and next to a small, yet dark cave. Why don't I set up camp inside the cave and seal off the entrance? Because I'm terrified of caves. During the attack of the King, I was there, and I was fighting well. Until, the ground below me was blasted open, and right after I hit the ground of the cave that happened to be right under where I was standing, collapses on itself. I got out of the way just in time, but it left me trapped for a long time. I never saw the surface again, until I found Lachlan and Preston. So now, I love to look at the stars at night, as a great reminder that I made it out alive. I reach into my inventory for so torches to light the area and keep mobs from spawning, but I only have one. Then it hit me, I left most of them at my last camp by accident. Well that's just great. That means I have to go into the dark cave with only one torch. Gggrreeaatt. Maybe of I'm lucky then I can get some flint and steal to start a fire. I hesitated before standing up and walking over to the entrance of the cave. With a torch in my left hand, and an iron sword in my right, I take my first steps into the darkness.

The light of the torch only illuminates a small amounts of blocks around me. I look around, very uneasy, mostly to the very faint groaning, that my guess is a zombie lurking deep within the cave. Hold on, that sounds like a groan of pain, like real pain. Someone has to be hurt! Now I'm on an even higher alert when I here a quiet yip, somewhere, yet nearby in the darkness. As I wander my way to the kind of annoying yipping, I could have swore I saw something very small and white before falling flat on my face.

After pushing myself up, but only half way, I roll into a sitting position; opposite of the way I fell. I place the torch next to me on the cold stone, that makes (for some reason) the light brighter. I spot the culprit behind me tripping, and it's, um, I don't know. It's something that's very small, yet long, skinny, white, has a triangular shape at the tip, and a golden orb on where the point would be. It looks familiar in a way but I can't put my finger on it. Hold on, it looks like it's attached to something. I cautiously scoot towards this tail like object, carefully moving the torch as well. The orange glow soon revealed what this 'tail' was attached to.

I couldn't believe it. Right in front of me was the baby form of Lachlan's Prince Dragon! But how? What's it doing here? How did it get get here? My inner questioning was interrupted a small yip and the three heads of the dragon staring right at me.

"Hey." I whisper with a soft smile and holding out my hand. All three heads seemed to be scared and hesitant at first, but the head with the sapphire blue eyes on my right, took the brave step and sniffed my hand. Blue signaled Red on the left, and Black in the middle that I was a friend. I moved the torch closer to him as Little Lachy slowly came closer to me. That's when I finally got a good look at him. Still the same dragon I remember that helped save Rob and Vikk from the basilisk temple, except for the wings. They're normally three sets of wings, a simple gold strip as the structure, and a thin yet strong and fragile at the same time lining to make the actual wings, but the lining is missing, besides... a few shards... along the strip... Lachlan had mentioned that a Prince's wings are super fragile and if the lining shatters they have no power.

During my thoughts, the young dragon had curled up next to my leg. I smiled while gingerly stroking his back, making him purr. My biggest guess is that the scorpion that threw him did this, and he doesn't have the strength to travel back. Nor would it be a good idea for him to travel with me, I can't have the risk of him getting hurt. He just looks so sad from being away from Lachlan for so long, I need to think of something.

According to Mitch Time, about ten minutes had passed before I came up with a plan.

"I have an idea." I say, giving interest to Little Lachy as he rose his heads to my words.

"Help me get supplies so I can back to the village faster, and as soon as I get there, I'll find Lachlan, tell him about you, then we'll come back and take you home." I explained and I think he liked it, because Blue nodded while they all got up. My head tilted to one side as I watched him walk into the darkness. I got up, picking up the torch and followed him along with lighting up where he went. The light revealed a single chest in a hand dug cove. He most have done this, which is kind of impressive for not having hands and being wounded.

Random thought, I'm aware that all three heads have different personalities, but I've always had this thought that Blue was female. Yes, a prince dragon is clearly a male as the name implies, but Blue just acts so motherly.....  Speaking of which,

Where did Little Lachy come from?

Hey guys, I'm really, really, really, sorry with the late release of this chapter, and I don't have much of an excuse. Hopefully Switched will be out soon. Also, Yup I lied about what happened to Mitch being a 2 parter, because this went on longer than I thought and I didn't want to bore you with long chapters, unless you prefer longer chapters. Okay, two things I need to know. Do you want a Little Lachy origin mini story, if so when.

Anyways, see you next time my cookie squad.
