Morning Schoolyard

Satsuki stood on a podium as if she was giving a speech and every student had to listen to, the Elite Four stood behind her. I finally had a new uniform which I had to buy but I got a deal. I wasn't really looking forward to this because this means no good could come from this.

Satsuki: Today, I am giving the Honnouji Academy Student Council system a fresh start! All students have the right to attack all other students! Secret meetings, scheming, backstabbing, anything goes! Seven days from now, reach the schoolyard alive! And then, use your strength to lay claim to your social standing once again! This shall be Honnouji Academy's first naturals election!

FIRST HONNOUJI ACADEMY NATURALS ELECTION

You: Great... I have to pummel other students again.

Ryuko: Naturals election?

Satsuki: In this election, you will not be choosing some candidate! You will be choosing yourself! Your standing! Your strength! Your way of life! At 8:30 am, seven days from now, a Sudden Death Runoff Election will be held with the survivors who arrive in this schoolyard! Fight one another! Emerge victorious! And I will grant you your new Goku Uniforms anew! And now, fellow comrades of Honnouji Academy! FIGHT!

SUDDEN DEATH RUNOFF ELECTION

You: Well this will be fun!

Suddenly a red barrier appears around the tower as I made my way up to classes I just look at it. I just shrug my shoulders when I saw the girls and the teacher talking.

You: What is the hell are they doing?

Aikuro: They're circulating finely chopped Life Fibers at a speed of 100 m/s. Any and all attacks are neutralized by that barrier. It would probably be difficult to breach even with Senketsu's power.

HIGH VELOCITY LIFE FIBER JAMMER

Ryuko: Damn, I was thinking this was my chance to challenge her directly. She whops everybody into a frenzy, and then sits behind an impenetrable shield?

Aikuro: It's probably the other way around. She's ruled absolutely here, and by sequestering herself, she's causing a state of anarchy within the Academy. See?

We all look below to see all the students fighting each other and I just sighed at this.

Ryuko: I swear, I'm so sick and tired of her...

I saw the Elite Four walking out of the school hitting the students out the way, the whole school was in chaos and well a lot of students were unconscious. Later on in the day, the whole town was in chaos just because of Satsuki Kiryuin as students fought each other. I even had a student try to jump me but I just flicked them away like a bug. When we got home students were going around the town causing all these explosions, I just had enough of this. Mako's family begun drinking tea while I was trying to dig out my newer costume.

Mako: Gosh, things sure are crazy in town, huh?

Ryuko: What's with you guys looking all philosophical?

Barazo: Well, due to that recent incident, we learned that observing over short-term wants isn't any good.

Mataro: Yes indeed, there us luck in the last helping. If I wait from everyone's exhausted from fighting, I'll be able to lift one or two wallets easy!

Sukuyo: Mataro, you never learn!

She pinched his cheek pulling on it which sounded like it hurt but I noticed that my suit was missing. I can only find the dorky one.

Ryuko: In that case, sir, I'm gonna borrow your scooter.

Barazo: I swindled it from the owner of a scooter shop especially for you. Use it all you like.

You: Where's my super suit? Um, excuse me where is my costume?

Sukuyo: Oh that costume I washed it because of how filthy it was.

A look of shock was on my face as Ryuko passed by me laughing at me.

Ryuko: How the tables have turned!

You: Uh. But I need it.

Sukuyo: You will have to wait until it dries!

You: Yes ma'am...

I changed into the classic suit in a matter of seconds as I flew out of the house to go around town. I began stopping fights by knocking students out with nonlethal attacks. A One Star student charged stared at me as I raised my arms and with my index finger and middle finger I gesture him to try and defeat me. He charged at me like a bull and I took off my cape as I acted like a bullfighter as I moved my body and cape the second he tried to tackle me making him crash into the wall as I clapped my hands together and had a rose in my mouth as I smirked. The wall behind me formed a heart before it crumbled.

You: ¡Olé!

I clapped which caused a sound wave that made a lot of window burst. It knocked the students that were near me down as I overdid a tiny bit.

You: Oops!

A bunch of students charged at me and I just smiled at this due to the fact that this was too easy.

You: Come and get me!

I inhaled a lot of air which made my chest swell out a little bit. With a powerful force of wind, I blew all the students away without killing or injuring them too badly. I then dusted my hands off as it was quiet for now.

You: That should take care of them for now! How about I treat my self to some ice cream maybe later I'll make a pie. When did I become so enthralled with food?

7 Minutes Earlier

Ryuko's POV

Funny seeing him finally get his pride brought down a notch. But I had somewhere important to be so I walked out of the house getting ready to ride the scooter Mako's dad let me borrow when Mako came out with me.

Mako: Where are you going, Ryuko?

Ryuko: Nowhere special.

Mako: Oh, just tooling around huh?

Suddenly Mako was behind me on the scooter which surprised me how fast she was to get on. She began to hold on to me but I wasn't taking off yet.

Mako: I'll go with you! Okay, let's go!

Her grip around me tighten which caused Senketsu to groan from that.

Ryuko: Hey!

Mako: I'm not letting go!

I just gave up trying to convince her so I just smile.

Ryuko: Oh, what the hell. Senketsu, grin and bear it for a while.

Senketsu: C-Can't breathe...

Revving the scooter up we take off to the very place I wanted to go. The ground began to shake a bit but I knew that dumbass had something to do with it. The trip was gonna be a long one so a conversation ought to make it faster.

Ryuko: Aren't you gonna fight in the election?

Mako: Nah, I'm a No-Star. I don't have anything to lose. Rather, I'm happy 'cause it's like a one week vacation

Ryuko: You have a point.

Mako: We'll be outside cheering you on in the Sudden Death Runoff, so fight hard, okay?

Ryuko: Will do!

We speed up but I stopped because I heard someone singing and I recognize the voice. When we reached the source my suspicions were correct. I saw (F/N) sitting in a chair with ice cream as he was in a brown jacket, jeans and wearing sunglasses. I just had a confused face watching him act like his ice cream was a mic.

Eating ice cream was a good treat for myself I was using the ice cream like a mic as I began to sing final lyrics of "The Gambler". My head would sway a bit as I was really into this song I was enjoying sitting on this beach chair chilling out for a little bit.

You: 🎶 You got to know when to hold 'em, know when fold 'em, know when to walk away, know when to run. You never count your money when you're sittin' at the table. There'll be time enough for countin' when the dealin's done.🎶

Ryuko: What the hell are you doing? Don't you have to go stop the students from fighting?

You: I took care of it already, and I was singing while eating ice cream.

Mako: Ooh! Ice cream does sound good right now!

Ryuko: We have to get going.

I took a lick of the ice cream while Ryuko just sighed and drove away on the scooter. I flew up them catching up pretty quickly when we arrived at a burned down building. Taking another lick out of my ice cream cone Ryuko snatched it from me and gave it to Mako which I don't know why. But the ice cream was gone in mere seconds and a tear went down my eye.

You: My ice cream... Where are we anyway?

Ryuko: My family's house.

Mako: A wreck like this? Wow, so you were poor, too?

Ryuko: I wasn't living in these burnt-out ruins. It was a regular mansion, but it burned down.

You: Oh, so that means you were once rich.

Ryuko: No, of course not. My mom died right after I was born, and my dad was a scientist who only had time for his research. We never got along, so I started living in the dorms in grade school. I started to turn bad and fight all the time. By my first year of high school, I was a full-blown juvenile delinquent. And then, six months ago, I got a message from Dad saying that he wanted to talk, so I went home for the first time in ages. But...

Flashback

Ryuko's POV

I went to a door to see my dad who was sitting on the ground stabbed by a scissor blade. I ran up to him worried as hell about him.

Ryuko: Dad! Dad! Dad!

Isshin: Don't make a scene, Ryuko. If you want to live a peaceful life, just get up and walk away. But if you're going to fight in my place...

He began to pull the scissor blade out of his chest and tossed it to me.

Isshin: Take this scissor!

Ryuko: What do you mean, fight?

Isshin: If you take that scissor, you're sure to find the person who killed me. But a cruel fate lies in store for you...

I heard a noise come behind us and when I looked back I saw a person walk off and they had the other half of the scissor blade. I began to chase after them leaving my dad.

Ryuko: Hold it!

Isshin: Let them go, Ryuko! There's still much more that I have to tell you!

When I got outside the mansion I look up to see someone jumping away with the other blade. Suddenly the whole mansion goes up in blaze I could do nothing but watch as I got on my knees.

Ryuko: Dad... DAD!

Your POV

Ryuko: When we lived apart, there were times when I hated him. But when he died, I realized for the first time that I didn't know anything about my father. So I wanted to at least find out who killed him, and why. And what he was trying to tell me. And what this Scissor is. I want to find those answers. And to know why my dad created you, Senketsu.

You: Wow... That's deep well sorry to hear that Ryuko.

She began to transform as she sparkled when the sparkles were gone she was in her transformed state. Ryuko then hits the ground beneath with her blade and she makes a hole falling down. I float down while Mako climbed down on a rope.

Ryuko: There's nothing here...

We all get out of the hole when I instantly went to get some popcorn when I got back Ryuko and Mako just got on the scooter and took off. I began to munch on the popcorn for it was good and due to the fact I can't get fat, I can eat all I want. I then follow after the two since I had nothing better to do when I was above them I saw Mako was asleep while Ryuko was driving the scooter.

Ryuko: I thought that there might be some kind of clue where I found you, but I guess it was a waste of time.

Senketsu: Mikisugi's doing, no doubt.

Ryuko: Maybe.

The scooter started to slow down as it was out of gas. Then it made a complete stop I then land next to the scooter.

You: Out of gas...

Ryuko: Can't be it says full... The fuel gauge is broken.

You: Well I can take the scooter back and fill it up.

I pick up the scooter with one hand as I flew to a gas station. When I went inside the line was quite long and I just sighed minutes went by as I got closer to the front of the line. When an old man was trying to pay for some stuff he got out a bag full of coins and he began counting so slowly. When he got to ten he lost count so he put the coins back in the bag and I just pinched the bridge of my nose in disappointment. The old man began to put the coins out on the counter again counting so slowly.

Old Man: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10... 11, 12, 13, 14, 15.

A little kid behind me was making a lot of noise when his mom wasn't paying attention.

Old Man: 18, 19, 20...

Little Kid: 30, 40, 50!

Old Man: 51, 52! Oh fiddlesticks!

He put all the coins back in the bag again and I just facepalm.

You: OH COME ON!

The old man began counting again so slowly and my pupils turned red but not enough for it to be noticeable.

Old Man: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10...

Old Man: 101, 102, 103

Little Kid: A B C D E F G

Old Man: H... I... J... Fiddlesticks!

Me and the Line of people: COME ON!!!

He poured all the coins in the bag again as I began to hit my head on the wall. This was taking too long I began to tap my foot on the ground gently as I waited for an hour now.

Old Man: 20... 21... 22... Where was I at again?

I got up to the register and counted the coins for the old man so he can pay for his stuff. He smiled at me for helping him take care of that as people began to cheer but I lost my spot in line so I had to go in the back of the line again.

You: ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!

I walk to the back of the line and it took a while until it was finally in front of the line. I pay the money to fill the gas up and I filled up the scooter pissed off after what I just went through.

You: I officially dislike gas stations!

I begin to eat a little pastry I bought with the gas. I was really enjoying food more than I used to.

You: Have I become a glutton?

I lift up the scooter not trying to waste gas as I took flight. On the way back to the house when I decided to do a little shopping for ingredients and some ice cream.

You: Well I got to deal with a crappy holiday again, Valentine's day which is coming soon. Oh well, I'm not gonna get all sentimental about that I have other things to think about. I'll make an apple rhubarb pie for the house.

I finally finished buying groceries as soon as I get outside I pick up the scooter when I noticed it was night time. It was tiring doing all these errands as I had to wait a while in line at the store too. I sighed as a bunch of students pulled out guns trying to shoot me but I just burn the guns with my heat vision and that causes them to back off of me.

You: A guy can't get a break here, can he? Well, time to get back.

I went back to the house noticing that I got back after Mako and Ryuko. I brought in the groceries as I was still frustrated about what happened today.

You: Don't ask me to go to any more gas stations! So how'd you two get home?

Ryuko: We...

Mako: Gamagoori was giving us a lift when we were attacked by some other students!

You: Okay... Well, I'm making Apple rhubarb tonight.

Ryuko: What took you so long?

You: Well when I went to the gas station to fill up the scooter, I was stuck behind this old man who took forever to count his change so I had to help him. Then I had to go in the back of the line again then I went grocery shopping because it's the least I can do. I just want to make this pie and go to bed!

I went in the kitchen getting everything together for the pie, it didn't take me long to get the pie in the oven. I set a timer and I just laid on the ground angry while doing this I got looks from both Ryuko and Mako.

Mako: Ryuko, he doesn't seem right.

Ryuko: Nothing is right with that idiot!

There was no response from me which shocked Ryuko.

Ryuko: This is the part where you say your witty comebacks! Hello?!

You: Zzz... Zzz... Zzz... Zzz...

Ryuko: He's asleep?

Mako: He must of ate a good lunch.

Ryuko: I thought he couldn't get full.

I began to move around in my sleep as I began talking in my sleep.

You: I thought you looked cute today...

Ryuko blushed as she thought I was talking about her in my sleep.

Ryuko: I wonder who he's talking about?

You: You looked cute with a cherry on top you delicious Banana Fudge Sunday...

Later on, the timer went off as I sprang up from my nap and got the pie out. It smelled mighty delicious and I couldn't wait to have a slice. When the aroma of the pie spread throughout the house the whole gang was there to get some.

Barazo: What kind of pie is that (F/N)?

You: Apple Rhubarb.

Sukuyo: You must show me how you make it.

You: Sorry family recipe. I really need to get to sleep not really a night person but after a slice of pie.

I cut out the pie as I handed everyone a slice and when we ate it they all enjoyed it. I swear I saw people blushing from the taste, the texture and the overall smell of it. I went to put on night clothes then laid on the floor covered by my blanket falling asleep. I was not feeling the same like I usually do but I just got over it and went into a soft sleep. Someone walked in and I could tell who it was so I woke up a little bit but had one eye open.

You: Hey Matoi...

Ryuko: Something is up with you, you aren't the same.

You: Huh? Oh nothing just stressed is all, you go on to bed or take a bath or whatever you do at night.

Ryuko: Idiot! I came to check up on you!

You: Why?

Ryuko: I don't know maybe because you did the same for me when I was eating alone!

You: Oh... Sorry, so what are the others doing?

Ryuko: They're eating dinner, well you did give us dessert before dinner and well you went to sleep without eating so I got... Worried.

You: Thanks even though I have become a glutton I'm not eating tonight I got some things to think about. You go on and eat dinner now, I just need some sleep.

Ryuko couldn't see my face due to me laying down and facing the opposite direction but I had a worried look upon my face.

Ryuko: Well goodnight (F/N)...

You: Good night Ryuko.

She walked out of the room as I had tears running down my eyes as I heard my pa's heartbeat begins to rise at a rapid rate. I wiped the tears from my eyes as I fell asleep.

Seven Days Later

Schoolyard

I was standing away from the crowd as I felt something was off so I leaned back on a wall to listen to the dictator herself. Satsuki Kiryuin stood on top of the tower looking down on us since the barrier was down.

Satsuki: Fellow comrades of Honnouji Academy! You have done well to struggle through seven days of mortal combat, to gather here to take part in the Sudden Death Runoff Election! However, your battle has only just begun! Every battle over the last seven days has been recorded! With that in mind, I will begin by designating new Three-Star students based on the results of the battle here!

You: Okay...

The ground begins to shake as I folded my arms not even moving a jolt while everyone else was freaking out. Five towers begin to raise out of the ground which some students were hanging on to, me I was only doing this Sudden Death thing just because I need to draw out Dennis.

Satsuki: There are five towers in the schoolyard! Those standing atop of them will be considered front-runner candidates, and the election will be conducted!

Ryuko: There she goes, being devious again! Fine by me!

I beat one of the Elite Four to the top of the tower while Ryuko rushed through the students to get on top of another tower. I was taking the spot of Uzi Sanageyama since I got up there in a split second.

Satsuki: Well, well. I see (F/N) will be taking one of the Elite Four spots after all.

You: Sorry bout that dude but you were just too slow.

Sanageyama: No fair! You have super speed!

Gamagoori: Lady Satsuki! Well then since he is joining this we propose a new rule for the Sudden Death Runoff Election! That we all face Ryuko Matoi in single combat!

You: Huh?

Nonon: If we're going to fight her anyway, this grand stage is the place for it.

Inumuta: I believe it to be a fitting way to cap off the climax of the Naturals Election.

Satsuki: This should prove just as amusing, huh?

What looked to be a small stadium rose from the ground with a place where the students get to watch.

NATURALS ELECTION POLLING PLACE

Satsuki: This is a king of the hill final battle! Matoi battle your friend and what remains of the Elite Four and emerge victorious! Do so, and I shall tell you the details of your father's death.

Ryuko: Say what?!

Gamagoori: Matoi! This is where I will face you in battle!

He jumped over to the top of the platform and he looked back at Ryuko.

Gamagoori: I am Lady Satsuki's impenetrable shield! And this is where I am going to crush you!

Ryuko: I accept!

Ryuko transformed as she was ready to fight Gamagoori and well I had a look of confusion on my face because I just wanted to draw Dennis out.

Ryuko: Life Fiber Synchronize, Kamui Senketsu!

Ryuko jumped at Gamagoori as the two ready for battle. I guess the moment has finally dawn the opportunity for her to get the answers she needed. In an instant I changed into my costume folding my arms waiting for my chance to do battle.
