As we ran up the path towards the floating labyrinth in the sky, I started to feel less queasy the closer we got. "Well, here we are." Sting said, looking around. "Whoa..." I said, looking down. "Piece of cake." Sting shrugged, as he started to walk ahead. We all followed him. "The coliseum is that way, so we should be going that way." I said, as Rouge and Sting nodded. Suddenly, I heard voices. "You two hear that?" I asked. "Yeah. I forgot that there were other guilds in the maze, too." Sting said, as the three of us looked around. "W-WHOAA!" I said, as the maze shook, then rotated. I slipped and nearly fell. "Watch your step, and hold on." Sting said, grabbing my arm. "O-okay....!" I said, still shocked at how I nearly got us disqualified. "Alright, let's keep moving east." Rouge said, as we kept walking. "If it's a maze, then how do we know where we've been already?" I asked. "Because it'll look different." Sting responded. 'I just asked a really stupid question, didn't I?' I thought, sighing. The maze started to shake again after about ten minutes. I held onto something, and we were still in the game. "And there they go." I said, watching as other teams fell to their disqualification. "You think fairy tail has been disqualified yet?" I asked. "I hope not, all the more reason to fight them." Sting smirked, as rouge nodded. "I hope I actually get a fight." I said, laughing. "You will, I'm sure." Rouge said. "Oh, I think we're almost there..." I said, looking up at some houses, or rather, looking down at them, since the path was upside-down. "This is a really weird maze...." I said, as we ran to the gate. The pumpkin man was at a door that had flashing letters that spelled out "Goal". "Well done, Sabertooth! You're the first ones to arrive at the finish line!"

<Timeskip!!!~>

"The Eight teams have been determined! The Grand Magic Games' preliminary Sky Labyrinth round is now over!" A screen appeared in the air, and the pumpkin man was being projected. "It's about time..." I yawned, looking out the balcony of Sting and Rouge's room of our hotel. We decided to discuss who we might be facing in the battles of the Games. "Which guilds will participate in the main events? You'll just have to wait until the opening ceremony to find out!" The pumpkin man said, as the projection disappeared.
