Woo! We hit 4K on NH!

Sorry if this is a shorter Chapter. Though its ending is important :).

Third POV

The next day had come. All the ninja had already eaten breakfast and were now training in the courtyard. As usual, they were wearing their gis.
Jay's parents were watching carefully, Wu sitting next to them, offering them some tea.

"So, you always keep that teapot with ya?" Ed questioned looking at it. The teapot was light blue and had white dragon like designs on it. Quite unique for its time.

"Just like I said to the others, you never know when it's time to sit down and talk. Besides, even tea can have power." Wu chuckled, turning his gaze to each one of the ninjas.

"They are really strong for their age; determined. The problem is, along with positive traits come the negative ones. Some only take an act of courage to repair themselves, others will take an eternity. Each one of them is really something else." He smiled.

"Well, isn't this a bit dangerous? I mean, they're barely below twenty!" Edna worriedly said. She was right. With each one of them being barely below or above the age of twenty, it was a risky and as some would say idiotic choice to rest the world on their hands. Someday though they will prove their courage and be heroes greater than their parents.

"It is indeed, but you can trust them. They've got it all under control."

"I think we need new dummies..!" Cole awkwardly shouted. All forty of the training dummies had been destroyed. Some were shattered by ice, some were smashed by large rocks, while others were burnt by lightning.

Zane was also awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck, where as Jay has fallen to the ground. The rest of the ninja were using the training equipment, though they couldn't help but getting knocked down at least one in four times.

Wu deeply sighed, stroking his beard. "Most of the time.." He said.

"I-I think it's time for us to go. We bothered y'all enough already, it's best of us to return home. We have to continue searching, after all." Edna gave all of them a slight smile.

Jay jolted (no pun intended) up from the ground running over to them with a worried look on his face.

"You don't have to walk! I'll help you get there!" He deepened his voice. He looked over his shoulder to see the other three giving him an approving nod.

"You'd really do this for us?"

"Of course! Come with me!" He grabbed their hands and led them to the stables. The couple gasped as they looked at the creatures in front of them in awe. Wisp jumped around happily once she saw her owner.

He let her out as she lowered her wing, letting everyone get on her back. She immediately flew up high with no warning, flying towards their destination.

"Isn't this a bit too fast?!" Edna yelled through the wind. Wisp immediately slowed down.

"S-sorry. She's just not used to having others on her." He awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck. "I'm sure she'll get used to it soon enough and- what is this..?" Jay gasped. They were now above the junkyard, but something seemed.. off. It was like pieces of metal were moving around on their own.

He decided to investigate a little bit to make sure his parents would be safe before he left them. He commanded Wisp to land a bit further from the junkyard, telling his parents to wait.

"I am going to be back in a second okay? Just be quiet and wait here." He informed them. His parents nodded, taking a step back.

He sighed as he went there. The moment he arrived, he noticed he wasn't alone. These metal things weren't moving, instead they were being moved by someone. He pulled out his phone, zooming in on one of them.

Weirdly enough, they didn't look like anything he had seen before. They were snake like creatures like Pythor, with only two key differences: Number one, they looked more humanoid. They didn't have any tails, long necks, or slim bodies. Their skin looked strange though. He took an even closer look and noticed that they didn't even have skin. It was made of vermillion colored snakes.

Apart from that, they looked like they had no souls. Literally. They were just picking up metal pieces and leaving.

Just then, a piece of metal fell to the floor. He took a few steps back just to knock another one down.

'Crap.'

The creatures' attention was immediately turned to him. They slowly started to surround him, hissing.

"Okay.. Can-can we talk this through? I mean, if you just need some metal you can-HEY!" He barely managed to avoid an arrow that was shot at him. "You know, that's not the warm welcome I expected.."

The soldiers began getting even closer to him. He tried to call the others, but all he got was a 'no signal' message. They weren't going to answer any time soon. He was starting to lose hope. He looked around, until his eyes landed on Wisp. The dragon was coming closer to him by the second. But something seemed off. Then he looked closer. His parents were on her back.

The dragon was now directly above them. The snake like soldiers began attacking him as he tried to block off their attacks. Even though he didn't have the Nunchuks, he still had his power, even if it was limited. He managed to take some of them down. He looked back up at Wisp. She began to charge up, lightning forming in her mouth. She targeted the enemies. The problem was that he was within that target. 'Oh no.'

"Wait, Wisp! Stop-!" It was too late. The dragon had already threw a strong lightning blast towards them.. His eyes widened as he saw it coming closer.

The attack hit the ground. He could feel electricity flow through his body yet he didn't feel pain, leaving him confused.

"Well, that was.. convenient." He snickered as he let out a sigh of relief. Though something was off. While most of the soldiers were -hopefully- down, their bodies were starting to fall apart, dissembling into small snakes. They were all officially dead, but not before some of them fired sharp arrows towards Wisp, making the creature yell in pain, flying angrily and sharply around.

He could hear screams getting louder and louder by the second. He looked up. His parents. They were falling. And they were about to hit the ground.

"WISP!" He shouted, but the dragon didn't hear him. He climbed up a pile of metal, ready to catch them.

They were getting closer. 'Okay, I can do this.

Three.

Two.

One.'

"I've got you!" He quickly caught both of them, slightly losing his balance. He put them down immediately before he could fall. Wisp finally calmed down and landed beside them, groaning in pain.

Ed was still trying to confront his wife, who was still breathing sharply.
Jay looked at the two of them with a frown on his face, before he broke down.

"I-I'm so sorry! It's all my fault!" Jay sobbed, feeling his eyes getting puffy. He pulled them both into a tight hug. To his surprise, they both hugged him back.

"No, Jay, it's our fault. If we just came out sooner.."

Jay quickly deepened his voice again. "Um, who are- who are you talking about? I'm Jacob." But he didn't fool them.

"Honey," Edna smiled. "We know it's ya."

"You knew?!"

"Heh, we're not that stupid.." Ed playfully glared at his son. "We also know 'bout Lloyd. After all of this, we can trust ye." He said, placing a hand on the blue ninja's shoulder.

"What-Why didn't you tell me sooner?!"

Edna's expression turned into a serious one. "Because we wanted ya to learn to tell the truth. " She glared. "We know that's not our boy, though." Her expression turned into a loving one.

"Come back to visit us any time you want. Ye can bring along your friends too. Especially Nya, she's really sweet." Edna teased him.

"Mooom.." He whispered, hiding his face in his hands.

His parents laughed. "Do whatever pleases ya." Ed said.

Jay chuckled and looked back at Wisp. She was still a bit injured, trying to pick arrows of her back.

"Right! Wisp! I-I have to go! I promise to see you soon, okay?" He exclaimed as he ran over to his dragon. The creature could luckily still fly, but not for long though.

He rushed to get on her, as he waved goodbye to his parents. He soon arrived at the Monastery, just in time before Wisp fell to the ground.

The others heard the loud noise and came as fast as they could. They all gasped at the sight. Wu helped the others treat the creature.

"What happened there?!" Lloyd asked.

"There were these red snake soldiers and they attacked us! They were grabbing metal pieces for some reason, Wisp killed them but got hurt, I saved my parents revealed the truth and-" Jay blabbered but soon ran out of breath.

"Red snake soldiers you say?" Kai whispered to himself, loudly enough for his sister to hear.

"You don't think.." She whispered back.

"We'll talk about this later. Just be ready." They both nodded at each other before bringing the bandages to the others.

Okay, I will have to say that it came out longer than expected XD.

C ya!
