Take a shot every time I put the words End and Beginning in a chapter title XD.

Also, I'm sorry the pace is so fast in this chapter. It was a bit rushed.

Onto the story!

Third POV

Lloyd and Harumi walked through the woods, Harumi leading them by cutting through the vines with Lloyd's sword.

"Um, are you sure you don't want to give me the sword? You know, in case we're attacked-" Lloyd tried to reason with her before he was cut off by her stopping to cut another vine.

"I can handle this, it's not that hard." She rolled her eyes, as they continued walking.

Harumi suddenly gasped and grabbed Lloyd's hand, sprinting through the woods, up to an opening.

A temple stood there, but it looked destroyed. It didn't take long for him to realize that this was the Temple of Fire and Water the others were describing. I guess its entrance was blocked after the disaster. Speaking of the others, Lloyd couldn't stop thinking about them. But, as usual, his thoughts were interrupted seeing Harumi starting to sprint towards the temple.

"Come on!" She said, taking his hand in hers.

Lloyd noticed carved stone being the material used to build the temple, leaving him confused. The fallen rocks were enough to create a steep bridge upon the boiled water, allowing him to get through

Lloyd's voice trailed off as he stared in awe at the stone temple in front of them. "The entrance is blocked. How will we get in?"He wondered.

"Follow me." She said, starting to climb up the rocks. "We'll get in from the roof."

Lloyd nodded, shortly climbing up the rocks alongside her. Soon enough they were at the top, as they found a small opening to get in through.

Going inside the cave, it was very hard to get through the fallen rocks, but they eventually made their way to an opening wide enough for them to properly stand.

Harumi smirked, noticing the small lava pit that was revealed behind them. He went closer to it, before feeling something grasp around her leg. Panicked, she looked down only to see a small orange snail climb up her leg.

"Ugh, I have to deal with you now, don't I?" Her expression turned to one of disgust, kicking it into the lava.

She turned back to Lloyd. "You can get them out now." She said.

Lloyd nodded, opening Harumi's backpack and taking out the five golden weapons. He picked all of them up and stood beside her above the lava pit.

"What are you waiting for? Throw them in."

Lloyd gasped, taken aback. "W-what?" He noticed Harumi walking around, stopping behind him. "No." He said, in a more deadpan and cold tone.

"Think about this, Lloyd. You want to make that sword, don't you?" She placed a hand on his shoulder, whispering in his ear.

Lloyd froze but managed to contain himself from being scared. "The answer is no. I'm sorry." He knew she was lying to him.

"Well then." She sighed. Lloyd went to move away from the pit when-

"Woah!" He exclaimed as he tried to pull himself up. Harumi had pushed him in, sitting above him on the muddy ground.

He then remembered. The weapons. They had already fallen in by the time he tried to reach out for them. He watched them as they melted, one by one.

He managed to pull himself up, Harumi waiting for him, smirking.

"You know, for being my father's so-called 'son', you are pretty easily fooled." Lloyd's eyes widening at her referring to him as her father, but still maintained a cold look on his face.

"Do you really think that I'm that stupid? You've changed. What happened?" He asked, reaching out to take her hand.

"YOU happened!" She screamed. "YOU killed my parents! YOU abandoned us!" She took a brief pause, choking back tears. "You left us.."

"Rumi, I- I'm sorry, I really am-" Lloyd was cut off with Harumi twisting his arm, pinning him on the ground.

"Still foolish, huh?" She smirked. "The 'Oni' are on their way to invade the city as we speak. But, why not give your fellow citizens a warning, first?" She reached her back pocket, taking out a syringe.

Lloyd gulped, still trying to get away from her grip. He sighed admitting defeat. He'd just have to wait for the others now.

"GUYS!" The ninja heard a familiar voice call out to them.

They all went outside along with Wu, expecting to see another visitor. Instead, they saw Skylor. And she looked panicked.

"What happened, Skylor?" Wu asked.

She tried to catch her breath. "They- they're here!"

"What do you mean?"

"The Sons of Garmadon! They've invaded the entire city! They've captured everyone!"

"How were we not informed of this?!" Zane panicked.

Without hesitation, Skylor pulled her phone, turning the screen towards them.

It was a video of Lloyd. Harumi had tied him up. She looked different. She wore a different, darker outfit. Her hair was down and red makeup covered the top of her face. She was taking blood out of him.

"This was broadcasted everywhere before the attack. They're at the Temple." Skylor said.

A loud noise was heard in the distance. Skylor flinched. "I think they're coming." Her eyes widened.

Wu gasped. "Ninja, go to the Temple. Me and Skylor will protect the Monastery." Wu demanded.

The Ninja followed his orders, quickly sprinting towards the stables and mounting on their dragons.

"Come on! We've got to be quick!" Cole exclaimed.

"Your friends will be here soon." Harumi said.

"Why do you need them? You have me." Lloyd asked her.

"Well, there's a third part in that recipe, isn't there?" She smirked. Lloyd's eyes widened. Cole.

The ninja burst in through the rocks before he could say another word. And they didn't look happy.

"Ah, you're here. Took you long enough." Harumi rolled her eyes.

"Let Lloyd go. Or else." Kai threatened.

"Or else what?" She smirked, pushing his body closer to the pit.

All of the Ninja simultaneously attacked her, but she was too strong. They all mostly focused on freeing Lloyd, eventually succeeding.

They all cheered, but soon stopped once they looked back at Harumi. She was holding Cole by the neck, as he was struggling to breathe. They were all amazed by her strength, shocked to find out she was once again holding a syringe in her hand.

She took too much blood out. Cole fainted.

"You know, I think I'll bring a small souvenir with me." She smirked.

Before they could stop her, she set off a smoke bomb. She had disappeared in no time.

"This is all my fault.." Lloyd buried his face in his hands, holding back tears.

"Of course it's not." Nya reassured him.

"Yeah! We'll take her down! And we'll save Cole!" Jay exclaimed, giving him a tight hug.

"Are you sure? I mean-"

"We're just glad you're back buddy." Kai ruffled his hair and grinned. "We can do this. If we managed to save you, we'll save him as well. At least I hope so."

"So, let's start from now, shall we?" Lloyd smirked, standing up.

~*~

"Huh? Where am I?" Cole tried to rub his forehead, but was held back by chains that gripped around his wrists. "Hey! Get me out of here!" He snapped, only to be ignored by the guard on the other side of the door.

"Don't bother." A female's voice said. He looked to his right to see another prisoner. Her grey messy hair was tied into a braid. She looked rather old. Her eyes looked tired. Only three words came out of her mouth. "I already tried."

So this may take more than two more chapters.

I feel like this book lost quality over time. What do you think? :/

I'll go now.

C ya!
