Holy Cow! When did this reach 270 views?! I didn't even notice it! XD

I'm also finally writing some scenes I wanted to write for a LONG time! But I might not upload next week, because of some other things I have to do 😏. But I dunno. Maybe I will!

I also decided not to put in the Misako subplot, as I've already got two XD.

Third POV

After that rather short conversation, the team went on to discuss their plan. They were still a bit confused by everything, especially Cole and Jay's friendship , but they'd just let it slide and leave it for later. Or at least they would do that if it weren't for their curiosity.

"So.. Who are you exactly? I mean, all we know about you is that your name and the fact that you hate your life.." Lloyd let out a small chuckle, as he could hear Kai whispering over to Jay. "And what's with the sudden invite? Why is he so special to come with us?"

Cole overheard this -since Kai wasn't the quietest person ever-, but instead of being offended, he accepted to answer to both of them.

"Do you want me to tell them..?" Jay looked at the raven with a slight frown, knowing that this was a hard topic for him.

"Nah, it's okay. I've mostly got over it by now.." A soft smile followed before he started talking.

"Well, you see, my mother has passed away.. Actually, she passed away before my birth." The others gave him a confused look. "Uh, let me put it this way. My mother fought in the Serpentine War but was killed in battle. When she was a ghost, she met my father on Day of the Departed. She somehow got pregnant and eventually gave birth to me." They slightly gasped as he pulled up a small
strain of his hair, revealing a bright green scar on the left side of his forehead.

"And since that night, she never came back for some reason. I just have this scar on my face to remind me of my ghost side.." He let out a slight sigh of relief, finally being able to stop. There was some awkward silence before Nya finally spoke up.

"Why are you telling this to us? I'm not trying to be rude, but-" She was interrupted by the raven. "Oh no, it's okay. I totally get it. Also, Jay's friends are my friends as well." He flashed a smile.

"So, what about your plan for us to protect those fancy, snobby people?" Lloyd chuckled.

"Well, you have to fit in at first. But you two are going to have to wear masks." He pointed to the siblings, who nodded in agreement. " And I know just the perfect place for us to go. Once we're ready we'll basically try to find suspicious actions. Seliel told me that that gang's named 'The Sons of Garmadon' or something and that they're planning to cause trouble. These are the people we'll need to look out for." They all gasped at the mention of Garmadon's name, as they knew that they couldn't not be associated with Lloyd's father. That also meant that they probably had Oni blood. They could shape shift.

They decided not to question anything else and follow Cole to.. Well, wherever he was going. Kai and Nya tried to keep a low profile, especially when they walked near a policeman, who luckily didn't notice them. The walk was pretty silent, but everything soon turned loud when they arrived at the building. Lots of people were exiting, all chatting. They were walking mindlessly, slightly pushing around the others.

They eventually went inside the building, which was pretty unusual for a shop. It almost seemed like a salon, but it was most like a house to them.
Everyone's attention slowly turned to Cole as he casually yelled.

"Sel! I need your help!"

"What is it again?" They heard another voice groan from the other room.

"Well, I've got a friend here, can you teach her how to do female?!" He yelled back, though he could feel Nya's glare creep behind him.

"Cole, just because I have pink hair, doesn't mean I'm the icon of feminism." The voice got quieter and slightly softened, as a blue streaked pink haired girl, came into the room, approaching the others. She was wearing casual clothes, holding a cup of coffee, while trying to ring up other costumers.

"Aw, come on! But it's your shift right now! And your parents aren't here to work for you!" Cole whined. "Plus, we don't have all day till the party starts!" He continued, making the others as mad as ever. How could he not tell them it was today?!

The girl let out a sigh, as she finally admitted defeat. "Okay, fine. Who is it?" She crossed her arms, looking over at the people behind him. They all pushed Nya on the front, with a proud smile.

"Wait! Can't I have a say into this?! At least let me wear a tuxedo or something! Kai..!" She snapped, giving her brother a pleading look.

"Sorry sis, but that's the way things go.." He let out a -not so- disappointed sigh. "And what are you gonna do?" She raised an eyebrow, as the others could see Seliel cringing in the background.

"Well, they are going to show me how to play video games! And Cole has some clothes for us to borrow, so.." He awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck as he dragged the others towards the exit.

"You know what, I like you. Good to find another logical person here." Nya turned around to see the pink haired girl placing a hand on her shoulder.

"I'm Seliel, as you previously heard." She introduced herself. "I'm Nya.." She awkwardly mumbled.

"You should be happy no one saw you. You don't want them knowing who you are." She smirked at the ravenette, offering her to sit on the chair. "Then why aren't you reporting me to the cops?" She gave her a suspicious look as the girl chuckled. "We've all been through our rebellious days. And don't worry. I'm closing in about 10 minutes anyway."

Suddenly, a smirk formed Nya's lips. "Well, since you're going to give me a 'makeover', as my brother said, why don't we add a small extra touch?"

"I'm all ears.." Seliel smirked back, her voice softening. And boy, was this addition going to be useful.

"Woah! This place is dope!" Kai admired his surroundings, wanting to try out every single one of these machines.

"Yeah, they've got photo booths, pizza and most importantly- JAY YOU BETTER LOOK AT THIS." Cole went on to explain but let out a growl when he saw.. him.. That kiddo, Nelson. He had always been their number one enemy in video games.

"What's up with the kid?" Lloyd chuckled at their -obvious- immature behavior.

"He's over there beating my high-score that's what's up! You need to train hard to achieve that title. REALLY HARD. And I'm not letting some eight-year old take it away from me." Jay glared at the kid, who gave him 'the look'. That evil smirk that meant war.

"Oh, it's on."

"Uh-huh.. Well, me and Lloyd are gonna go get some pizza.." Kai rolled his eyes, as he and Lloyd left the others.

"So, what's up with all the father stuff? Don't you have a mother?" Kai casually wondered. "Well, she left us years ago. And I don't really remember her either.." He lowered his head down, as Kai nodded. He could tell that the blond was feeling uncomfortable as ever, so he tried to cheer him up.

"Hey, if I could last fourteen years without parents, so can you." He laughed, giving him a reassuring smile. "Guess you're right.. If he doesn't take over the world first." He chuckled.

They turned their heads around, as they could hear Cole yelling at them.
"Hey, guys! Come try it out!" He pointed at a DDR machine, making the others slightly laugh.

"Dance Dance Revolution? I thought you hated dancing." Lloyd chuckled.

"Well, yeah, but that doesn't mean I can't have fun! Also, as much as I support Jay, I think that the kiddo is gonna beat him." He discreetly looked over at Jay, who was struggling to keep up with the kid.

"HA! Take that, old man!" Nelson stuck his tongue out at the loser. He had finally managed to beat Jay's score AND win against him in his own game.

"Who are you calling an old man?! I have to inform you that once you hit puberty your body-" He pouted, before Lloyd covered his mouth.

"He doesn't need to know about that, Jay!" Cole said in the most kid-friendly way possible.

"Well, it doesn't matter, because I got to win the trophy!" He cheered and did his little victory dance as a stranger came in through the back door, dashing towards the exit.

He passed and pushed away many people, though Nelson pulled his shirt.
"Hey! I've seen you! Put that bag down!" He glared at the stranger.

"Out of my way, kid." He pushed him backwards, making him land on one of the arcade machines.

"Are you okay?!" Lloyd rushed to the kid. "No, I'm not okay! That guy stole something and he's gonna get away with it!" Nelson pouted, his eyes whelming up with tears.

"No, no. It's okay. You did everything you could! We'll catch him!" Cole reassured the boy, though he could feel the others' glares behind him.

"Come on! Let's go!" He started to run off the shop, the others following behind. And all they wanted was a nice day..

~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°

"Are you sure I can handle this?" Nya -tried- to walk towards Seliel. "I mean, if I have to wear a long dress, what does it matter if I wear.. these things?" She looked at those things in disgust as she -once again- fell.

"Of course you can do this girl! And with that extra touch we added, you're good to go!" Seliel gave her a playful wink, making her smile.

"I feel like I'm in a Princess Academy. And I hate it so much.."

"Well, there's no going back now..!"

"Ugh.. Fine." She groaned, getting up from the ground.

"Now, let's do this again!"

~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°~°

"I see him! He's over there!" Lloyd pointed at the main park. They started running towards him, Kai being the most furious of them all. He was ready to tackle that guy.

Once they started approaching him he suddenly turned his head around and started running again. This time they got lucky though. He ran off to an empty, abandoned building, were they could easily catch him.

They saw him catching his breath, while they tried to sneak up on him. Jay gave them a signal to use his power, though Kai couldn't wait and went straight for the tackle. The guy gasped in surprise, as he dropped his bag on the ground. He tried to fight back, though it was no use.

"What did you steal? What was it?! A shop, a bank, WHAT?!" Kai snapped.

"Woah, relax. Just calm down Kai." Jay gave him a reassuring smile, only to receive a death glare by the brunet.

"Okay, now tell us, who are-" Kai was ready to snap again, before the guy disappeared. Just disappeared within a fraction of a second.

"Did he just-"

"Turn into smoke..?"

"And disappear?"

"Something really strange is going on.."

Yeah.. I'm going to have to split it into three parts.. 😅

I also realized that I'm going to be continuing his for a awhile and since I want to have a bit of variety, if you have any book concepts/types that you'd want me to write, then just tell me!

C ya!
