And.. We hit 300 views! That escalated quickly XD.

And yes, final part of the three chapter trilogy! And this one has the Jaya scene I've been dying to add!

Onto the story!

Third POV

"Are you sure we can do this? What if we get spotted?" Nya bit her lip, wandering around the room back and fourth.

"Just snap out of it Nya! We have prepared clothes and masks! You are going to be fine!" Seliel reassured her.

'Well, the rest of your life doesn't depend on it..' She thought as she finally stopped walking and stood still, hearing the sound of a door opening.

"The others must be here. Just put your mask on, give your brother his own and we discuss the name thing." Seliel informed her. They both went towards the door, Seliel confirming it was the guys before opening. They were all dressed in plain tuxedos, with different colored ties. Red, Blue, Green and Black. While the girls were dressed in some plain dresses, Nya's being blue with a tone of red and Seliel's once again blue with a tone of pink, they were pretty much the same, except for the length. Nya's dress was pretty long, reaching beneath her knees, while Seliel's was just a bit shorter and more tight-fitted.

Their reactions were pretty much expected: Kai -mostly seeing his sister- was holding back laughter, with Jay blushing like crazy, while Cole and Lloyd were looking at the both casually. They were pretty much the only ones that had the reactions a normal person would.

"Don't you dare say it.." Nya raised a finger, glaring at her brother. But.. he couldn't miss a chance to tease his sister from time to time.

"Look at my baby sis becoming a princess!" He teasingly said, faking a tear.

"Just put this mask on and figure out a name." She gave him the mask Seliel had made -more likely bought- for him. It was a red mask, with yellow and orange patterns across it. Just like hers, it only covered the upper part of their face.

"Names?" Lloyd interrupted the siblings' talk. "Well, yeah, if they're gonna go to a place where people know every info about them, they can't really use their real names." Seliel raised her shoulders.

"Oh! I know!" Jay popped up behind them. He looked over at Kai. "You will be.. Ian!" He then pointed to Nya. "And you'll be Kia!"

"So.. Their names will be an anagram and different spelling of each other's names?" Cole took an awkward pause.

"Brilliant." They high-fived each other.

"Well.. Ian and Kia it is.." Lloyd sighed. "Let's get going. The quicker we're into it the quicker we're out of it."

And so they all left the building to head towards the Palace of Secrets, where the party was going to be held.
Now the walk could have been peaceful and silent if it weren't for the guys explaining -with some professional sound effects- the events that had occurred earlier.

"And then I went POW! And I threw a punch at him! But then he disappeared!" Kai threw his hands in the air, Lloyd rolling his eyes behind him.

"Okay, Kai. Now let's tell them what really happened." Cole gave him a small teasing smile.

"According to that kid, he stole something. We followed him to an abandoned building, where Kai tackled him before we could do anything else." Nya gave a thumbs up at her brother. "We got distracted for a second and once we turned around, he was just.. gone." He sighed, raising his shoulders.

"We're pretty sure he was an Oni. Maybe one of the people my father transformed."

"Wait, if your fathers' name is Garmadon, didn't you think that he could possibly be related to the Sons of Garmadon? You know, the ones we're supposed to prevent from attacking the royals?" Seliel spoke up, everyone giving her a confused look.
"And he didn't recognize Kai as a criminal, so he's probably from the Dark Island."

"I always knew you were the smartest." Cole said, giving a fist bump to his friend.

"Out of the two of us, yes. Out of the world, no." She chuckled.

"Uh, guys? Is this the place?" Nya gazed at the massive building that stood in front of them. Its style and architecture was very obviously inspired by Japan, just like the rest of the city. The entrance had been nicely decorated for the event, to a point where even small golden statues were placed around.

"Uh-huh. Not that exciting, to be honest.." She let out a fake yawn.

"Well, we're not here to give the place a makeover." Lloyd narrowed his eyes. "Why did your dad host it here anyway? You know, since it's his party and not the royals' party.."

"I.. don't really know, actually. I never really wanted to know anything about this stuff. If it weren't for the Sons of Garmadon rumor, I honestly wouldn't have come." Cole said, letting out a small groan before entering.

"Now, I must warn you. Everyone in here is too snobby for their own good. So they may or may not break your nerves." He whispered at the others, who giggled behind him.

"Nicholas! What are you doing here? I thought you said you weren't coming.." A middle-aged man suddenly appeared behind them, making them jump a bit.

"Hi dad.." Cole put on his fake smile
-even though he couldn't help but show his boredom-. "Yeah, I came, though I brought some friends along."

"You already know Seliel and Jay.."

"Good to see both of you again. Jason! How are Ed and Edna doing?" His gaze immediately turned to Jay, who just stayed silent.

"This is Lloyd." He shook the blond's hand. "And these, are Ian and Kia." They awkwardly waved at the man.

"What is it with the masks? I don't remember hosting a Halloween party.." He raised a brow, patting his foot on the ground.

"Uh.. It's the latest trend! Haven't you heard?" Jay said. "Yeah! It's called.. Anonymous Dancing!" Lloyd continued for him.

"Uh-huh. I kind of like the idea.. Fine, go on, you can keep the masks. Just don't misbehave." He smiled, turning back to speaking with one of the other guests.

"So what do we do now?" Lloyd questioned. "I guess just split up and see if you can find any of these dudes?"

"Yeah, but how do we know that they are an Oni?" Kai said.

"Well, their transformation can't last forever, right? Just find someone who's acting suspicious." Lloyd raised his shoulders.

"Fine. Let's just go." They all split up around the room, -trying- to accomplish their task. They all got into different places, with some of them wondering around.

"Okay, now where the heck are the Oni- Woah! Sorry!" Nya whispered to herself, before suddenly bumping into another person.

"No, no, it's okay! We just ended the broadcast anyways!" She looked up to see a woman, dressed in full-on pink clothes smiling at her.

"I'm Gayle Gossip, a famous journalist around here. But you must already know me." She gave her a small wink, before continuing.

"Our team has been tasked with filming the event. We've taken a few good shots today, so the result is sure to come out amazing! But that doesn't mean our skilled cameraman can't take other photos! What do you say? Want to try out?" She offered, dragging her camera man next to her.

"Oh, uh, me? Why would you accept taking pictures? Your job is to tell the news, after all." She gave them a suspicious look. "Well, we're going to need guest pictures for the highlights! So, is it a yes?" She smiled once again, fixing her glasses. Nya didn't really have a choice, so she just awkwardly nodded.

"See? It wasn't that hard! But we need your eyes to shine for the camera! Now to take off the mask.." She reached out for her face, her slowly taking a step back.

"It will just take a second sweetie, don't worry!" She got a bit closer to her, Nya knowing that she couldn't really do anything. Pushing her attracts attention and declining makes her mad. She had no other choice but to wait, really..

"May I interrupt?" She heard a familiar voice call. And she knew that voice very well.. She looked up to Jay awkwardly speaking to Gayle. She really wanted to be mad, but all she did was let out a small sigh of relief.

"Yeah, yeah, it's totally fine! I completely understand! Maybe later, dear?" She questioned Nya as she finally left. Though before she could react, she was straight up pulled closer to someone.

"Okay, what the heck are you doing?" She whisper-yelled, looking up at the blushing figure.

"Gee, at least a thanks for saving your identity would have been nice." He slightly narrowed his eyes. "I told Gayle that this, was my excuse for getting you out of the situation. But we kinda have to prove it first."

'She isn't even looking!' She knew that he knew that as well, but decided to just roll with it for now.

"Do I look like someone who knows how to dance? I mean- Ow!" She gave him a small glare feeling a slight shock in her hand.

"No, but.. just follow my lead. You'll learn on the way. And yes, I just shocked you, because you won't listen." He smirked, knowing that he just beat her with her own advice of 'showing your emotions'.

They danced around for a bit, learning the steps on the way, though they were a bit too close to each other than they intended to. It was pretty silent, though the red faces and awkward facial expressions told a whole other story.

"So.. You're telling me you're not seeing this..? My best friend is falling in love there!" Cole held back laughter, nudging Kai's shoulder.

"Oh yeah, I'm seeing this.." He casually responded. "That doesn't mean I'm not keeping an eye on him. Or her.." He took a sip from his drink, before noticing a guy running out of the room.

"Who's that dude?" He pointed out over at him just a split second before he was out of sight. "Oh.. Uh. I don't really know. Must be one of dad's friends." He said raising his shoulders.

"Well, why did he leave in such a hurry then? And outside, of all places." He raised a brow as he gave Cole the 'something is up and you know it' look.

"Well, he did seem in kind of a rush.." He sighed before continuing. "Fine.. You go get the others while I go look what this guy is up to. But I bet my life it's probably nothing." He rolled his eyes as he watched Kai leave to inform the others.

"Lloyd, go get Sel and meet Cole in that door. Understood?" He pointed over to Cole who was getting closer to the spot where he last saw the guy.

"Gotcha."

Kai then went to the center of the room, to find you know who. The best thing that surprised him about the situation is honestly the fact that his sister of all people would accept to dance. Especially when wearing a dress.

"I'm still sorry for that. I shouldn't have interrupted your photo-shoot.." Jay slightly grinned.

"Ha, ha. Very funny.." She sarcastically laughed as she gave him a slight glare.
Even if they weren't the best of friends, he'd really like to know her more. She was really smart, pretty and although somewhat.. violent with her enemies, she was still perfect.

"So.."

"Hey, you two!" Someone popped out of nowhere, interrupting the two. They couldn't really tell if they were relieved to avoid more awkwardness, or disappointed for.. other reasons.

"What is it?" Nya asked her brother, as he was dragging the two to the others.

"We think we may have found someone, come on!"

They ran towards the door, making sure nobody saw them. When they arrived, Cole was looking terrified. He slowly took a few steps back, before noticing the others.

"We're here." Lloyd and Seliel entered the scene. "What's the matter with him?" Seliel pointed at Cole.

"You remember how you told me about this raising the full Oni stuff?" The others, except Seliel nodded.
"Well, I believe you.. I-I saw him transform in front of me. He-he was-"
Before he could finish, the others had already dragged him along and continued wandering around the many rooms of the palace.

They walked around until they found some people outside the entrance.

"Who are these people?" Lloyd whispered.

"These are the Sons of Garmadon. Most of them wear these masks for some reason." Seliel replied, glaring at the people. 'Must be Oni..'

"Well, what are they talking about?" Cole continued, before hearing a loud explosion.

"I think that's what they're talking about." Jay grinned, pointing inside the building, where they could hear loud screams and people running.

"Let's get this over with.." Nya sighed, ripping off the skirt part of her dress, revealing black leggings and a belt full of daggers. Everyone looked at Seliel.

"See? Told you my addition was gonna be useful." She proudly smirked, nudging Nya's shoulder. "I know.." She gave her a wink.

They all ran inside, seeing all of these masked people once again. Though they were convinced they were Oni, three of them didn't have masks on, or any Oni features. There was just a woman and two men.

"Since when can Oni ride motorcycles..? I think we'll have to deal with this.." Cole sighed, immediately jumping into battle. And holy Jaya, was it a tough one. The problem with the Oni is that some of them had powers, while others were holding large weapons.

"Hey! You-" Cole gasped as he was pushed against the wall. He tried to get up, the blurry figure slowly walking over to him. "Who are you?" The figure stayed silent. There had to be a person inside of there. I mean, he didn't look like an Oni and he seemed to wear somewhat normal clothes. Black and red clothes with a matching helmet.

He slowly approached Cole with a sword, before Seliel knocking him over.

"You okay?"

"I think so.." She helped him get up.

"What do you want?" Lloyd shouted at one of the Oni, before the woman dressed in purple cut him off.

"Why don't you tell that to our leader?!" Ahe screamed in her high-pitched voice, before a large figure burst through the wall, breaking a piece of it. The person wore a mask similar to the Oni's, though two black ponytails came out of it. Their body was huge, as it seemed to be made of stone, just like an ancient statue.

"I got this!" Jay smirked. "Lightning!" He shot lightning at the figure, using all his power. Though it didn't harm them at all. They were sure that psycho was smirking under the mask.

"Or.. not.." He gulped, as the person pulled out their long swords.

"Fine! Who are you?!" He yelled as he saw his teammates -mostly Kai and Nya- try to stab it, only for their weapons to break.

"You know very well who I am, Lloyd Garmadon!" A deep feminine voice snapped. "You better give up now. You'll die! Do you understand?!" She shouted at a slightly psychotic way. Before they knew it, all the Oni stopped. They turned around and started backing away. It was like she could command them or something.
Everything was quiet.

"I knew you were going to be here." The voice softened. "That's why I came. Warn you. You better retreat now, because I won't show mercy in the future." She rose her hand, leaving with the rest of her army.

"W-what just happened?" Kai clutched his stomach, slowly getting back to his feet.

Everything was all messed up. Most of the guest had fallen unconscious, while others ran away just in time.

"Dad!" Cole ran over to Lou, shaking his body. "He's just unconscious. I can take care of him. You need to go." Seliel's tone changed to a more serious one with every word.

"What?! Why should I leave all of you?!"

"Cole, please! If they have to stop this, you better help them. We'll be fine. I'll explain everything to your dad.." Cole's eyes became a bit puffy, as he tried to hold back tears. Though all he could do was nod.

"Your Highness!" A man gasped as he headed over to their bodies. "Somebody get help! Now!"

"As I said.. I got this.." She bit her lip, as the others came closer.

"We have to go.." Jay placed a hand on his best friend's shoulder.

"I know.." He slightly smiled as the team went outside. Policemen were already coming into the area, so boy, were they glad they got out of the back entrance. They headed off, as they said one last goodbye with Seliel.

"Where do we go now..?" Cole sighed, lowering his head.

"We're off to find the Scythe of Earth."

Hey..! So, I hope you enjoyed this little trilogy and hope that this finale chapter was worth it! My longest chapter ever -over 2900 words-!

And don't you worry, because the remaining team member is going to appear in the next chapter! 😉
