Jiz's pov.....

"When I first accepted the opportunity to be a spy, I thought that it would be a great idea. At that time, I didn't know what Vizion was really like, so I just assumed what they told me was true. But when I joined Vizion and saw what you were really like, I realized that it was the Sentinals who were bad and not Vizion. I regretted who I was and where I was from. The one thing that saved me from escaping this life.....was love. Love at first sight." I confessed from the heart.

I hesitated for a minute before adding, "You've heard my testimony, what's your verdict?"

Viz pushed the blaster closer to my head and I squeezed my eyes shut, but for some reason, he pulled away. I fell to the floor with a thud.

"Everyone deserves a second chance." Viz said.

He leaned in closer to me and added in a whisper, "Biz never had a normal life. She tries to act normal, but deep down, she has a lot of insecurities. Her emotions can change in a snap. She never felt love. Just remember this if you want to be her's."

I nodded my head, showing that I understood. I smiled at Biz, who was smiling back at me. For a moment, nothing else mattered, not even the war.

PING!
PING!
PING!

A bullet bounced off of the steel walls. A groan of pain and a body fell to the floor.

"VIZ!" Biz cried, racing to his side. I raced over as well.

He was badly hurt and bleeding. His glasses fell off his face and we could see some sort of scar near his right eye.

"Keep fighting. I'll be fine. If I don't make it out of this, Diz will take my place. Win this war for Vizion." was all he could say.

Biz was in shock, panic, and worry at the same time. I put my hand on her shoulder to try and comfort her.

"Why did it have to be like this?" Biz sobbed as she clung closer to me.

I looked in the direction the shot came from and saw the face of Commander Skew himself.

"Run." I said, "Run!"

Well, Jiz not be screwed after all guys. Was it the right choice?

P.S. I made a sweet title cover for An Enemy Among Us. The title cover is at the beginning.

What do you folks think? Again, this is a picture of a computer screen, so it doesn't look as good as seeing it for yourself, but it is close enough.

I'm working on the title cover for the MCSM/Riddle School crossover book right now as well.
