Ellis' pov.....

Oh my gosh! What has Skew done!? First, he kidnapped my mother during that war 30 years ago and tried to kill me, and now he shoots Viz and wants to kill Jiz and this other girl that Viz supposedly knows. What is the matter with him!? Why would he do this to us!?

We were running for our lives, but I eventually fell into his trap. I hid in a room, but the doors locked on me, thus separating me from Jiz and his girl.

I guess I should tell you what happened when I ran into Viz.......

I was racing through the hallways, hiding from any stray bullets that might ricochet off of the steel walls when I ran(literally) into Viz.

"Ellis...." Viz said absent-mindedly.

"Ellis, what are you doing here? I mean, I know you're a Sentinal, but why are you here in this battle? Some random member of my crew might shoot you or worse!" Viz added.

Same old Viz. Always worried.

"Well, well, well, haven't seen you in a while, Fire Boy." I said

I heard the faint sound of footsteps, so I put my blaster near his head.

"What are you doing this for?! Are we still considered enemies?" Viz asked.

"Shut up! I hear footsteps and I don't know if it's a Sentinal or not." I hissed.

It turned out to be Jiz and his girl.

Until I find a way out of this door, I hope that the others are alright.....

*Jiz's pov.....*

"This way!" I said, pointing to the right.

We've been stuck in this chase for some time now and I've been leading Biz through the maze of hallways.

I found a storage room and thought it would be a good place to hide. I pulled Biz into the room and closed the doors behind us.

I let out a sigh of relief and turned around. I gasped. Skew was on the other side of the room.

"Did you really think you could outsmart me, Cadet?" Skew asked.

"First off, no. Second off, I quit so technically, I'm not a Sentinal." I said.

Skew scowled when I said this. He calmly began to pace a little as he talked.

"You quit? Oh that's a shame." Skew said in sarcastic sympathy, "I guess that will make your death more painful."

Skew raised his blaster up, aiming for my head.

"You useless idiot! Not only did you start this war, but you are the most useless solider I had!" Skew yelled.

His finger slowly closed on the trigger.

"Die you worthless potato!" Skew said.

I pulled out my blaster to counter his move. I put my arm out in front of Biz to protect her.

"Not today." I muttered.

*Gun noise*

Biz ran up and tackled me to the ground. The bullet ricocheted off of the titanium doors and hit Skew in the chest. Talk about fire away! He didn't fall over right away, but then his legs finally gave way.

I turned back to Biz, who was still on top of me.

"It appears my debts are stacking up." I said.

"It appears they are." Biz replied.

Biz got up and offered me a hand to help me up.

The question is, should I stop making Author's notes at the end of chapters?
