"Hurry your ass up!" Minho yelled at me. Suddenly I tripped and landing on my side causing me to groan.

I felt a hand under my arm as minho helped me stand up as we continued running.

We saw the gates starting to close as we both ran faster and barely making it through the doors.

"Holy shit." I coughed out laughing a bit as I landed on my back and minho was on his knee laughing.

"How the hell can you two be laughing?!" Newt growled. Me and minho both stopped laughing as we exchange a look trying not to burst out laughing.

"Because we literally almost just died." I smirked as newt helped me up and inspected my face.

He gently held his hand to my cheek causing me to smile gently. The worry in his eyes made me feel bad.

"Hey, I'm ok." I mumbled grabbing his hand from my cheek and holding it.

He frowned slightly as he pulled me along into the med jacks hut. Once he had me sitting down, he wouldn't stop staring at me.

"Newt I'm fine, just a little tired. That's all." I tried giving him a reassuring smile but I don't think it helped.

As Clint gently whipped any cuts I had, I couldn't help but see everyone had a look of worry on their faces.

By the time Clint finished with me, newt was leading me outside. I noticed he was taking me back to the tree.

We both stared at the stars starting to appear. "You had me worried today." Newt said without looking at me.

"I kno-" I was gonna say but was cut off by newt quickly. "No you don't Taylor."

"You think you know but you don't. You almost didn't make it today. You don't realize how much we need you here."

He snapped as he stared at me. "You about the only good thing in this place." He rubbed his hands together sighing.

"You act tough and you try to hide that fact that your struggling just as much as the rest of us." I stared shocked as I frowned and lowered my head.

Newt took a step forward like he was about to leave. "I'm sorry ok? I just didn't want anyone to-"

I was cut off yet again, the only difference is I felt newts warm lips against mine.

Holy. Shit.

He gently pressed my back against the tree as my hands wrapped around his neck.

His hands rested on my hips as the kiss was slow but needy. We both waited so long for this.

We almost didn't get it because of my recklessness. I kissed him with every fiber in my being.

Trying to make him understand how much he means to me. Suddenly he pulled away staring at me with his brown eyes.

God I loved those eyes. They made me want to escape all of this. "I like you so much newt. And I don't want to lose you..."

I whispered as he shook his head gently. "You won't love. I'm always here." He mumbled before gently kissing me again.

This one wasn't half as long as the first but it still meant a lot. Once we pulled away I noticed a glint of lust in his eyes.

He was trying to hold himself back. I took this opportunity to mess with him. "A boy flirted with me the other day."

His eyes grew dark at this. "Well I guess he's gonna haft to learn." He growled lowly.

This made my heart speed up. I liked jealous newty. "learn what?" I whispered to him.

"Your mine." He mumbled lightly as he kissed me again. This time with more aggression and passion.

My hands made their way up into his hair as I slightly tugged on it. This caused him to growl into the kiss.

He gently put his hands under my legs and pulled me up. I wrapped my legs around his waist As he started kissing down my jaw to my neck.

I let out a whimper making him smirk against my neck. I don't know where this newt came from but I love every second of it.

We pulled away from each other to breathe as newt looked down at me with a dark look on his face.

I turned to see the lights shutting off in homestead. He turned his head noticing to as he let me down.

I looked back at him and pulled my hands away. "So..." I trailed off causing him to laugh a little.

"Taylor whatever the hell your last name is. Would you give me to honor of being my girlfriend?"

I couldn't help but giggle causing him to smile more. "Hmmm. I guess so." He rolled his eyes and gently kissed my forehead.

"You can stay with me tonight. Since everyone is asleep already." He just silently agreed as I pulled him with me to my room as I fell down on my bed.

I let my eyes close as I felt him lay down next to me. I rolled on my side facing him.

"Are you gonna keep going into the maze?" He asked, concern lacing his voice.

"Some days. But I won't all the time. I still got builders to keep in line. And I gotta make sure you stay outta trouble."

He scoffed lightly as he pulled me closer to him. "I don't start trouble." I gave him a bullshit look as he rolled his eyes.

"Ok. Sometimes I start trouble. But your brother is worse." He mumbled. And that I could agree on.

Gally's temper had been worse ever since my accident. And we seem to have drifted apart a bit.

But that was also cause I was spending time with newt or minho, or chuck.

He had to respect the fact I had other people who needed me now. I was just happy I was getting back to work.
