The beginning of the tour was pretty boring. He was just explaining the jobs of each glader.

I wasn't surprised to find my brother in charge of the builders. Alby expected me to be more curious about the outside but I didn't care.

"So, it's just like a giant maze?" I asked as we climbed up a wooden structure.

I leaned my arms on the railing as I seen people running out. "Yea. That's minho. He's keeper of the runners."

I waited for him to continue but he looked hesitant. "Gally spoke highly of you."

"Even if he doesn't remember much, he remembers you being a good leader." I scoffed lightly.

"Im serious greenie. I hope the day comes where I can trust you enough like I do newt." Alby's gaze moved to newt in a field.

"Look, we are having a fire tonight. It's tradition. I hope you come." He finalized as he climbed down from the structure.

This was gonna be a long couple of days to get through.

The day went on quickly. I was spending most of my time with Gally. I snapped at him a few times for being mean.

He was getting annoyed but he probably figured he shouldn't fight with me.

By the time everyone was ready for the fire, gally had finally finished what he was doing and we made our way over.

While Gally walked off with the builders, I walked over to newt. He was the only other person I knew there.

He sat silently staring at the fire almost like he was in a trance. Me sitting next to him snapped him out of it.

"What's wrong newty?" I gently nudged his shoulder. He smiled softly and shrugged.

"Just thinking. Lost in my thoughts." He seemed almost worried but I pushed the thought out.

"But, even when we are stuck in a box. You seem to bring light." The small smile on my face turned big once he said that.

"Your sweet. You are like a little bunny you know that?" I chuckled softly as he looked confused.

"Hey, I'm like a mighty dragon." He tried to defend himself making it funnier.

"Nothing about you screams mighty you know." I teased slightly.

He pressed his hand to his chest sarcastically. "I'm hurt." He gasped. I frowned slightly.

"Do you think we will ever get out of here newt?" I asked concerned.

"Maybe. But for a greenie your handling things well." His voice sounded worried of the topic.

Before we could speak much more I heard loud voices as I turned my head to see my brother wrestling.

I rolled my eyes lightly before grabbing newts drink from him. I had tasted it earlier today so I was used to it.

"Dear sister. Would you like to try?" Gally asked catching my attention.

I gave him a bored expression. "Sorry, not in a mood to play silly games. Find me someone who can beat me first."

Everyone around looked shocked at my reaction. Gally looked embarrassed. "Fine."

I handed my drink to newt as I stood up and made my way over. "Remember this, you asked for it."

I pointed my finger at him as he rolled his eyes. He explained the rules and immediately attacked.

I knew him better then anyone. Even without my memories I knew my brother.

I knew the way he fought by the first step he took. He tried tackling me but I moved out of the way in time.

He almost tripped before he came at me again this time I grabbed his arm twisting it tightly as he fell to his knees.

"Seriously." I said annoyed twisting it a bit more causing him to give in. "Come on you could have gone easy."

He mumbled. I could of but I didn't want to hurt his feelings. I hugged him smiling.

I pulled back and tilted my head. "Wanna go for a walk?" I asked noticing some boys still staring.

He looked around at the boys and nodded as he grabbed my hand and pulled me away.

We slowly walked acrossed the field as I let out a sigh. "It's strange. I can't remember really anything except you."

"I remember we played as little kids but I don't remember where we were." I frowned as we came to a stop in front of the wall and sat down.

I rested my head on his shoulder as he held his hand in mine. "All I remember is that your my twin sister and it's my job to protect you."

He was scared. Scared for me. How I would adapt to this kind of place. But I wasn't.

"You know I'm ok right? One day we will make it out of this maze." He hummed in response as we talked throughout the night.

I was woken up by a loud bang as I groaned falling to the floor. I looked around confused as to where I was.

I remembered quickly that I was talking to Gally. He must of brought me here.

I pulled some boots on as I exited the room to see very few people up. I looked around for Alby knowing I was starting my job today.

But surprisingly I was joined by newt. He gave a warm greetings causing me to smile.

He was seriously a ray of sunshine. What. The. Fuck. Ok focus. Need to focus.

"So greenie your gonna be with me today in the gardens. With the track hoes." He seemed very confident about it.

"Yes, girl leaning down and picking up plants in a place full of teenage hormonal boys is a great idea." I sarcastically groaned.

He laughed lightly at me. "Alby already warned the boys. Besides, your gally's sister. Nobody's gonna touch you."

I rolled my eyes as I followed him to the fields. Long day ahead of us. And I wasn't prepared.
