" Where is he?"

"I don't know."

" If he is going to come late then why the hell did he tell us to come urgently."

" Neha, he must be stuck in traffic....
Relax. "

" Raj! But we have an important meeting in an hour. Already it's being difficult for us as our boss is not attending it and on top of that if we are also absent then our company name will be spoiled."

" I know but if he had called us to talk then it must be very important matter."

Neha and Raj sat in the Cafe waiting for Siddharth as he told them to come urgently.

Neha's phone rang interrupting their talks.

" Hello? "

" Neha! Where are you guys? The meeting is in an hour! " She heard.

" I know Shweta but that idiot who called us here didn't come still." Neha said annoyed.

" Which idiot?"

" Siddharth."

Raj and Neha heard a loud gasp from phone.

" Did you just call our boss an idiot? " Shweta shrieked.

" Umm.....Yeah....." Neha said laughing nervously.

" She calls him with many more names too." Raj said at the phone laughing.

" Oh! Like what?" Shweta asked curiously.

Raj was about to say but Neha cut him off.

" You guys are impossible! There is an important meeting for us in an hour and you guys are talking nonsense leaving it." Neha exclaimed.

" Hey! We are not talking nonsense. Who started this talk?" Shweta said.

" Raj. " "Neha."

Raj and Neha said each other names pointing their fingers at each other accusingly.

" See."

They heard from the phone but ignored it glaring at each other.

They snapped out of their glaring match when they heard a laugh from the other table. They both turned and looked at their right side table to see a girl was laughing looking at them.

They both glared at her.

" Oops! Sorry! But you guys are so funny." That girl said lifting her hands in surrender.

" So, What names do you call our hot and sexy boss Neha?"

They both turned their attention on the phone when they heard the exciting tone of Shweta.

" Shut up."

They both yelled at the phone.

" But....."

She tried to say but again they yelled at her.

" Shut up."

" But I didn't even say anything!" Shweta exclaim.

" Then don't say anything."

" Huff....."

They heard and the line went silent.

" What was that?"

Raj asked on the phone.

" I am pouting because I am angry on both of you and I am not going to talk to you people."

Neha groaned banging her head on the table and Raj rolled his eyes at their childishness.

" I will go mad one day. This girl doesn't understand what to talk when and this idiot of our boss is not coming still." Neha said her head on the table.

" I am here."

Raj and Neha heard and looked up.

" When did you come?" She asked.

" When you were banging your head on the table." He said blankly looking around.

Neha glared at Raj when he laughed.

" Oh my God! "

They heard a squeak from the phone which made them flinch.

" I have a bunch of idiots working for me. " Siddharth said looking around.

" Hey!" Raj glared at him.

" Did you just call us idiots? " Neha glared at him.

" Yes." He said earning glares again.

" I also heard that and for your information I am also glaring." They all heard from the phone.

Neha slapped her forehead with her hand while Raj snickered and Sid rolled their eyes.

" I am glad you heard it Ms. Shweta and I will be more glad if you make arrangements for the meeting which is in less than an hour now." Shweta heard the business tone of their boss.

" Umm.... Ok Sir, I will make sure everything is arranged and ready for the meeting. I was talking about the meeting only but Neha got me side tracked calling you an idiot..... So I forgot...... " She ranted panicked and coughed when she realized what she said.

Siddharth glared at Neha who is glaring at her phone now.

" I will kill you." Neha gritted her teeth at her phone.

" Ha ha..... What did you say? I didn't hear. May be signal problem..... Come soon we will be waiting for you and Raj..... Bye." Shweta said hurriedly and hung up the call.

Raj stifled his laugh but that girl on their right side couldn't stop her laugh. Her laugh made all the three of them look at her.

Her gaze met with Siddharth who is looking at her coldly. She stared at him taking in his handsomeness. Neha rolled her eyes at her gawking and looked at other girls in the Cafe who are swooning just looking at him.
She doesn't want to imagine what happens when he will talk to them.... Maybe they will faint.

Raj shook his head at her gawking and looked at Siddharth who is trying to call someone on his phone clearly ignoring every girl's stare.

" Where the hell is she?" Siddharth growled impatiently.

" Who?" Raj and Neha asked.

" Me."

They all heard and looked at the person who said that. It was the girl who laughed at them a while back.

" What?" They frowned.

" I am the one for whom you are waiting." She smirked at them.

Raj and Neha looked confused at her while Siddharth told her to sit down with them.

" So, you are detective Akanksha?" Siddharth asked her scrutinizing her.

His gaze made something inside her. He was more hot and sexy in person than what she heard and seen in the media.

" Yes." She managed to say.

" Raj, Neha.... This is the detective whom we hired to search Anu and Ms. Akanksha these are my friends." Siddharth said formally.

" Oh." They said and nodded their heads at her but internally their heart swelled when he called them as his friends.

Raj and Neha smiled at each other and then looked at Siddharth who smiled at them back.

" Ms. Akanksha you told me that you found the lead. What is it?" Siddharth asked curiously.

" What?" Neha yelled.

" You found the lead?" Raj also yelled.

Akanksha looked at them both and Siddharth who are looking at her expectantly.

" Yes." She replied.

" What is it?" Neha asked impatiently.

" Actually it's very difficult to trace her because she is keeping a very low profile and she is not using her previous phone or cards to track her. So I asked Mr. Karthik more details about her and her family. He told me what he knows and what all you found out about her. He told me where she used to take treatment and also her house address. I enquired the neighbours if they know anything about them but didn't get any information except that her father was a retired government official. I tried to track about him also but it seems that they keep everything to themselves a lot and doesn't involve in anything, so it's hard to find them. I even tried to find if they had any properties or houses in the city or in any other cities but I didn't get any information on that also. So, the only source left was the hospital and their house. I know they wouldn't come back to their house anytime soon and so I kept a close eye on the hospital and the surroundings. The time when Mr. Karthik called saying that she came for her check up I was near hospital only. By the time I came I didn't find her maybe because she covered herself and I didn't recognize her or she hid herself for sometime till everything got clear. But what I understood is that maybe she got doubt that someone is looking for her because she disappeared after her check up without even buying the medicines in the medical shop of the hospital where she usually buys." She explained them and took a pause looking at them.

Siddharth was clenching his jaw and fists tightly while Raj and Neha has a disheartened look.

" How do you know that?" Raj asked her softly.

" Mr. Karthik said that you talked to the doctor and also said that doctor gave you the copy of the prescription he gave for her. I asked him for the prescription so that I can enquire based on that. So I started my enquiry taking the prescription to the medical hall in the hospital. They said that often these medicines are purchased by the patient name Ananya but she didn't take those medicines from them this time. So I proceeded my enquiry to other medical shops nearby and in the city also."

She looked at them who sat silently listening to her like kids listens to a story with wide curious eyes and open mouths.

" So when I am enquiring a popular Medical hall in the city, I got to know that a small medical shop ordered those medicines from them recently. And when I checked it they were the same exact medicines in the prescription given to her." She finished and took a deep breath.

" So you are saying that it might be Anu who ordered those medicines." Neha asked with a hopeful smile.

" Yeah, I think so because no other patient will have the exact same prescription." Akanksha shrugged.

" She is right!" Raj smiled.

Siddharth was silent the whole time. He was happy that they finally got a lead but was also afraid if it's not right.

Raj and Neha smiled at each other and looked at Sid whose face was blank but his eyes are giving away the fear and anxiousness he is having. Raj kept his hand on his arm which made him look at them.

" Where is this medical shop?" Siddharth asked her.

" It's a small private medical shop in Karol Bagh." She said to him smiling.

" Ok, you two go to the office and I will go to that medical shop and search for her there." Siddharth said standing up taking his phone.

" What? We will not let you go alone." Neha said shaking her head.

" Yeah, we will also come with you." Raj added.

" If you people come with me then who will handle office affairs." Siddharth raised his brows.

" But...."

" I am going." Siddharth said finalty in his voice and they both sighed.

" Mr. Khurana I will also be coming with you." Akanksha said and picked her purse.

" No, give me the details of the shop, I will go alone." Siddharth snapped.

" She may have purchased medicines from there but she doesn't live there. I have taken some information about some places nearby to search her. If I will come with you then it will be easy to find her. " Akanksha explained honestly.

Siddharth thought about it. He wants to find her as soon as possible and till then he cannot have peace, so he thought of taking her help.

" Ok." Siddharth said keeping his shades on his eyes and turned to leave.

Akanksha jumped in her place excited to spend time with him. She always found him attractive when she saw him in any magazines or social media and now meeting him directly developed a crush on him in her heart. So she is glad that she can spend time with him and also can complete her assigned task.

Neha and Raj looked at her with wide eyes when she did a little dance in her place happily. Raj rolled his eyes while Neha felt sorry for her as she will not get what she is expecting from Siddharth.

They both went on their way to the office while Siddharth was ready to go and Akanksha stood staring at him smiling.

" Get in the car!" Siddharth said coldly  getting into the back seat of the car, gesturing her to the passenger seat beside driver.

Siddharth travels daily with a driver as Karthik ordered because they didn't trust his driving with his depressed condition.

She nodded and got into the car. She showed the address to the driver and talked to him about the directions. She looked back at Siddharth who was drowned in a book which looked like a diary.

Siddharth prayed in his mind that he should find her and opened her diary.

I fell in Love with this place.

This office is fun. Environment and people are very good. Everyone are friendly, even the boss too.

I met these two amazing people today.....Raj and Neha who also joined office with me today. They are nice and I liked them instantly when I met them. I have a feeling that we will be great freinds.

I feel that these people, this office and this environment will help me to get through my pain a little and forget about my condition at least for a while.

Siddharth closed the diary and wiped the lone tear escaped from his eye. He looked out of the window and thought that she was right about her friends as they were really great friends.....for him also now.

Akanksha stealed glances at him now and then checking her phone in between. She frowned at him when he saw him reading the book intensely. Then again she looked at him who looked out of the window biting his lip as if he is trying to himself from doing something. She wasn't sure that she found tears in his eyes but shrugged it off thinking an arrogant and ruthless businessman like him doesn't cry but make others cry.

If only she knew what he was going through and how much pain he is enduring daily thinking that he may lose his Love.

Siddharth again read the next few pages of the diary which had some experiences written about her new best friends and the office. He was glad reading them thinking that atleast someone was there with her at that time.

He closed his eyes painfully and said to himself.
