Miri's PoV

I avoid getting hit by jumping back. But it looks like I got used to being able to jump back way faster in My Hero Academia because just now I only back to scoot back a few inches.

"It worked?" Katsuki stands up and looks around. He jumps up and pumps a fist in the air. Looking confused, he jumps several more times. "WHY CAN'T I JUMP HIGH."

I laugh and answer, "That's how it is here."

"Hold up. I know you and you." Zenith points to Kirishima and Katsuki. "But who are you two?" He points to Yu and Michiko.

I sigh and introduce him to everyone, and the same for them.

"Why do I look different?" Yu says, eyeing at her arms and legs. "Everything in this world looks so weird," she notices.

Kirishima slings his arm around her shoulder. "You still look just as cute, though." He earns a shy shut up from his girlfriend.

"Ew. Anyways. Welcome to my world." Zenith says, spreading his thin arms. He's a year younger than me, but he's taller and leaner.

"And why doesn't my quirk work?" Katsuki asks.
What could he possibly be trying to blow up already?

"This is a magic-less, quirk-less, boring normal world!" I say. I had gotten so used to quirks that I was a bit upset when I realized I couldn't use them here.

"How did you guys get here, anyways?" I question. I'm sure they didn't just fall from the sky by some pure coincidence.

"Well, we actu-" Kirishima starts, but is cut off by Yu who exclaims,

"Bakugo wished us here!"

"You're kidding, right?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Well, they were too distressed to think straight," Eijiro started, earning flares from Yu and Katsuki. "so I just thought, if you wished to our world, why couldn't we do the same?"

I can't really argue with that logic. If I did it, I guess they can too. I'm not surprised they were together, but how'd Michiko get here? "Michiko, how'd you get here?"

She shrugs. "I was being all sad thinking about you, then poof I heading straight for a sidewalk. From the air. In a different world."

After standing there awkwardly for a few more seconds, Yu states, "I'm hungry."

We all then admit we are also hungry. And so begins our journey to the nearest place with food. We find a convenient store and pick out sandwiches for all of us. At the counter where we pay, Michiko pulls out money. I eye it, then whisper, "That currency isn't going to work here."

She nods understandably. I nudge Zenith, hoping he has cash on him.

"Yeah yeah whatever." He says, pulling out a credit card.

He has a credit card? What did I miss out on!?

After eating we walk back to the gate, but midway, I hear a noise. It sounds like a twig cracking. I hear a grown man mutter a curse, and then yell "Just get them! Go! Go! Go!"

A bunch a people come out of their hiding and grab us. I try biting their hands and kicking them everywhere, and eventually screaming, but the guy that grabbed me just covers my mouth with his gloved hand.

We're pulled a couple feet from where we were standing before, and thrown into the back of a large van.

The van starts to moving as soon as the people who took us shut their doors.

It's okay. You've been kidnapped before, you can deal with this now.

I feel around the darkness and come across hair. Spiky hair. "Is that you, Katsuki?" I whisper.

"Yeah I'm here." He whispers back.

"We're all here." Everyone says.

"I wonder where we're going...?" I murmur to myself.

"Miri you've been kidnapped, right? What do we do?" Yu asks desperately

"I don't know!" I whisper-yell, frustrated. "It's not like this is a hobby of mine!"

"If only we could have our quirks, I'd blast us outta here." Katsuki says.

Come on...

In My Hero Academia whenever I wanted to use my quirk, it kind of just happened. But of course I have to try. It's like walking. Using my quirk was like a physical exercise. So to use it here do I have to, like, invent an exercise called 'Explode' or something?

We all try to calm ourselves, but then the truck stops.

All of our dear kidnappers come into the dark back where we are, and blindfolds us. Then we're led somewhere.

"Let go of me! I'ma kill you when I get my powers back!" Katsuki shouts. I can imagine he's aggressively wriggling and fighting back. They're probably wondering what this delusional boy means by "powers."

All he's going to do is get us killed.

We're dumped into what feels like an empty room and handcuffed to a wall. They rip our blindfolds off, but it's still pretty dark in here.

"We'll make good money from these guys! And the grown lady... she'll make a good wife." One of them says.

I feel so bad for Michiko as I see her face turn as green as it can get. They lock the door, and leave us in there.

"That guy is disgusting," Michiko says.

"We have got to get out of here." I state the obvious.

"Explode! Explode! Explode!" Katsuki yells. "How do you live in this world? I'm so feckin weak!"

I struggle against the handcuffs, but it's no use, all it does is dig the sharp metal into my skin. And since that was a failed attempt, I try pushing myself away by pushing my feet against the wall. That has no effect either.

An idea makes its way into my head. I lean against the wall hard, and it cracks a bit. I continue to pound my body into the wall until the wall is weak and broken up. Then, instead of pulling my hands forward to escape the hands cuffs, I bang my hands against the part of the wall where the handcuff chain is connected to. With one final ram, the wall breaks inward, which means my hands are still cuffed, but no longer attached to the wall. I stand up.

"You're free!" Yu exclaims.

"Shut up, you'll get us caught!" Katsuki yells.

I help everyone else do the same, until we're all standing up.

"I don't know about you guys, but if I managed to wish myself to a different world, I had better be able to make my quirks work in any place!" I say.

I concentrate and try sending a small explosion to the ground. I continue to do that without success, until the smallest puff of smoke escapes my hand.

"Smoke...it came from your hand!" Zenith says, gasping, and pointing with a shuddering cuffed hand.

"No you can't be stronger than me!" Katsuki shouts. "No! No! No!" He yells repeatedly, while doing the same thing I was.

Michiko does the same, Yu goes to work on making herself transform into her owl form.

The puffs of smoke get bigger and bigger, until a small orange dot finds its  way out of my hand. "I did it! I'm taking a break," I say, collapsing.

Yu managed to grow her wings halfway, and her talons grow longer by about and inch, getting sharper by the second.

Katsuki and Michiko continue until they reach the same achievement as me. Michiko and Yu join me on the ground, while Katsuki keeps on trying to make his explosions stronger.

Zenith sits in a corner with his arms crossed.

"Let's see how many tears they've shed!" A muffled voice says, and the lock rattles. One of the guys opens the door, only to see us all free. "What happened!? Guys get in here quick!"

A bigger guy runs over to me and says, "This was your plan I can tell!"

How the fu-

"This is what you get!" He harshly pushes me into a corner, and pulls out a knife.

I swallow my pride and smirk. "Hey big guy, I didn't know you were into that kinda stuff." I wiggle my eyebrows.

He had the knife tightly gripped in his hand, but my comment stunned him for a moment. I push my hands in front of me, using this opportunity to get to my feet. But the second he's not touching me, he's blown to the other side of the room.

I gasp, looking at my hands. Did I do it? Katsuki punches his palm, satisfied by the explosion that erupts. Looks like it wasn't me.

"Your smug time is up." He smirks. "DIE!!" He runs to them.

Katsuki blasts them, with Michiko sending small bubble attacks, and to my surprise, the bubbles... were actually cutting skin? Yu flew above them, scratching them with her talons mercilessly. I sent strong explosions of all sizes their way.

"They're aliens!! We surrender! Take our money!" One of the guys shrieks.

Without speaking another words to the failed kidnappers, we get out of there like there's not tomorrow. We wander around aimlessly for a bit.

"Zenith. You're good with streets. Where are we?" I ask him.

He crosses his arms again. I don't blame him. I would feel bad if my sibling went off to a cool anime world, and came back with friend and powers.

He points us out to where we are, and blandly orders us to follow him.

In only a few minutes, we're back at the gate of my neighbourhood. Zenith turns to me. "Miri. Are you going to stay here?"
