Miri's PoV

"This hot-headed guy has made it this far! It's Katsuki Bakugo!"

"Our dark student has come all this way! It's Fumikage Tokoyami!" Present Mic presents them.

"And...start!"

Katsuki starts mercilessly blowing up the stadium, aiming in the general direction Tokoyami. His dark shadow tries to attack, but is weak to the explosions. So very quickly, Katsuki has Tokoyami trapped, and forces him to say, "I give."

"Tokoyami has given up! This round goes to Katsuki!" Midnight says.

The next battle, Ida against Todoroki, is pretty boring. Ida just runs around for a bit, trying to escape frost boy's ice, but then Todoroki trapped Ida in his ice and won.

"And now, the last round, we have the two strongest! Katsuki Bakugo, and Shoto Todoroki!"

"And...ready...start!"

The second Midnight cracks her whip, the boys start attacking. From where our class is in the bleachers, all we see is a storm of ice, flashes, and smoke. And the often BOOM or SHATTER of explosions and ice being broken.

"Come on! Use your fire, stupid! You used it on that useless Deku, so use it on me too!" I hear Katsuki shout. "Use your flames now!" Katsuki is diving to Todoroki from the air, leaving rings of smoke behind. But still Todoroki doesn't show his fire.

Katsuki throws one more explosion at Todoroki, and knocks him out.

"Todoroki is knocked out! Bakugo wins! And that means Katsuki Bakugo is this year's Sports Festival winner for the freshmen!" Midnight announces. "This concludes the first years' sports festival!"

But Katsuki doesn't seem to care about winning. He stomps up to Todoroki, who is knocked out, grabs him by the collar of his gym uniform, and starts yelling, "This doesn't count as winning! Why didn't you use your left side!? I'm gonn-" but then Midnight walks over to him, and uses her quirk to knock him out.

Then the crowd starts cheering.

Hmm, just a second ago you hated him...

Class 1A cheers for him even though he can't hear us.

The two boys are taken to Recovery Girl, and some of Class 1A goes to see them.

When we get there, Katsuki is already arguing with Recovery Girl, as you might expect. "Lemme outta here! I don't wanna stay in this little infirmary!"

"I'm not letting you go anywhere until your friends come for you, who knows what you'll do if you're alone!?" She says back.

"Let. Me. Out. Now!!" He orders.

"We're here! We're here!" I quickly step in. "Sorry if he caused you any trouble!" I give her an apologetic smile.

She gladly lets him leave with us.

Later all the students are out in the fields again while the first, second, and third place people are receiving their medals.

All Might is handing out the medals.
"Tokoyami! My boy, congratulations!" and then he says something quieter to him, and then slips the third place medal over his head.

"Ida tied in 3rd place, but cannot be here right now due to family problems!" He says.

Then All Might does the same thing to Todoroki, who finished in second place.

Then...he reaches Katsuki.
"Bakugo! Son, you did well." All Might Katsuki's hands and feet are chained to a large piece of wood that is somehow drilled into the stand he's on. So he's stuck. They also put a muzzle on him.
All Might removes the muzzle, but before he can say anything, he's interrupted by a loud, "That didn't count! That victory AIN'T WORTH SQUAT! That half and half guy didn't go full on, on me! He's gonna die!!" Katsuki starts yelling loudly.

All Might tries to put the medal over his head, but Katsuki refuses. He shakes his head wildly, causing him to repeatedly bang his head on the wood.
"Just let me-" All Mights tries to say.

"NO!!"

All Might gives up and just stick the string part of the medal into Katsuki's wide open mouth, ready to scream something.

"And that concludes the first years' sports festival!"

Back in class, Katsuki is still fuming, with the medal hanging from his teeth. We're dismissed shortly after getting there.

"Are going to keep that in your mouth? Does it taste good or something?" I gesture to the hanging medal after walking up to Katsuki.

"No!" He yanks it out of his mouth, still visibly pissed.

It's Friday, so we won't be having school for the next two days. Ah, two whole days to reflect on the sports festival. However, it looks like my best friend has other ideas. Yu bounces up to me in her own little bouncy Yu way. "Miri!"

I slowly turn to face her. "You're not going to, by any chance, suggest something that would interrupt my peaceful weekend."

She smiles cutely and twirls a lock of her hair around her finger. "Well... I already told Mina..."

As if on cue, Ashido jumps in front of Yu. "YO MIYAKE! Yu and I decided that all the Class 1A girls should get together at the poooooool! Tomorrow!"

Oh great.
