Early morning light leaked out from the window and landed just on your eyes as you blinked awake. You tried sitting up but Ichigo's had you hugged tightly against him. The heat from him helped your cold body as the funny part was Ichigo was drooling in his sleep. You giggled at how cute it looked and kissed his cheek.

The touch of your lips woke him up as he blinked awake sleepily. You smiled and whipped the drool from his mouth before kissing him lightly and quickly. "Morning bed hair."

He chuckled and kissed your forehead. "Says the one whose hairs sticking all over."

You blushed and ran your fingers through your hair to help calm the wild hair. "I-It's normal for girl's hair to do that thought!"

"I know." He said and trapped you in a hug, "How are you holding up? Breathing all right?"

"Yeah I am. It just feels weird sometimes though."

"I get what you mean."

"Wait a minute." You said and started looking around the room, "Where's my body at."

Ichigo body when stone cold for a second before he laughed nervously. "Haha I accidentally left it down under the training grounds."

"ICHIGO!" You yelled at him as Ichigo quickly got up and when to grab your body.

It was noon around the time Urahara got the training grounds set up as you polished the bland zanpakuto in your hands. If you trained hard enough with Akumu she would help you release the true powers inside you.

"Alright are you guys ready?" Urahara said while fanning himself.

"Yep!" You replied and stepped into the huge white circle.

"Then let's start." He slam his cane on the huge white circle outline as a barrier formed on the inside. It was to keep the fighting inside and in case something happened he could stop the fight with the barrier as well.

Ichigo reached back and touched his sword handled as the white wrappings around it released his sword. It was bigger than you thought it was as it curved in the front and in the back. Ichigo relaxed his hand as if the huge sword weighed nothing to him.

Compared to your sword it was an ant to a human. Ichigo took off as you gasped and rose your sword up and clashed at the same time. Sparks when everywhere as you tried to get the upper hand, but Ichigo wasn't just going to go easy on you.

He kicked your side as it made you flew away. You screamed and crashed into a rock. You groaned at the pain while you didn't notice Ichigo was charging up his sword.

"Getsuga Tenshō!" Ichigo released the huge blue energy from his sword as you gasped and dodged it in time.

Luckily for you Ichigo only half his powers just for you as you opened your eyes and found you were on the other side of him. You just learned flash-step. Must have learned it quick because you did pay attention when Ichigo flash-stepped you places.

Ichigo quickly turned around and clashed sword with you again. The heat from the sparks scared you as Ichigo took the chance and pushed you back and cut your shoulder. The pain spread like fire as you cried out and slashed at him back, but Ichigo dodged it by clashing back with his sword.

It was the time to ask for help as you reached downside you and called out to Akumu.

'Akumu! I need your help with this fight!'

'Oh? Looks like you do. But why do you need my help for it?'

Ichigo crashed your train of thought as he sent another Gestsuga Tensho. You had no way of stopping it and closed your eyes, until a black wave of energy released from the zanpukto you had and it repelled the Gestsuga back at Ichigo. His eyes widen as he flash-step in time before it hurt him.

You sighed a breath of relief as it didn't hurt him. Just because this was a battle didn't mean you weren't worried about Ichigo.

'Ugh your a piece of work. Fine I'll help you.'

'T-thank you Akumu'

Ichigo charged at you again as you held up your sword to block his attack, but the world when dark as you fell the familiar style of falling.

It never seemed to end until you landed onto something soft. It was a pile of pillows under you as you heard Akumu laugh at you while helping you up.

"At least you helped lessened you impacted."

"What am I doing here?! Ichigo is about to attack me and if I don't go back I'll be done for!"

"Relax. In your inner world time is different and if you learn to control your power in time you won't get smashed into the rock behind you."

"Alright... so what do I need to do in order to release my true powers?"

Akumu smile when up into a twisted way as in her hand a single red ribbon was in her hand. "See this? Find it and if you do the path to your powers will open up. I wish you luck young princess." She said and threw the ribbon into the air as it disappeared.

Once you looked away from the ribbon and back to Akumu she was gone and replaced with a rushing hall of black water. You gasped and started running from it, but it was too late as you had gotten sucked into it. You gasped for breath and surprisingly found you could breathe just fine.

The wave of never ending darkness seeped into your soul as you felt all the coldness and anger of what people felt. It was horrible to feel, the pain of lost, the misery of death, the coldness of one's loneliness. All of it was impacting you in a way of madness. You could feel Ichigo's own sadness of when he almost killed you. It was heartbreaking inside to know and feel what Ichigo was thinking and saying to himself. To keep on hope when all he did was fail his friends.

But then... something flashed inside him and it was you. The hope he kept on latching onto was you. All the sadness when away when you opened your eyes and spoke his name. Suddenly, all the waves of negativity where going away as you soon spotted the color red in the sea of misery.

You swam towards it as all the bad things started going away with each distances you were making towards it. It was just there as you thought of Ichigo and swam harder and harder as you finally grabbed onto it.

'Well done. I will show you what you can control.' Akumu said as the sea of misery was disappearing and the red ribbon was glowing brighter and brighter in your hands as it started forming into a sword.

Ichigo was worried as he thought you weren't going to dodge it and lessened his attack, until his eyes widen at the sudden outburst of water from you sword. He got threw back into the barrier wall and groaned in pain. He looked up too see a wave of black water around you.

The sword in your hand glinted in the light as it was pure black as midnight. It's edge was razor sharp as the sword handle was twisted with red and white to give off a soul and blood battle. Ichigo awed at your zanpukto as it was nice and smooth just like his old bankai was.

You rose you sword up as a black mass of energy surged all around you. "Nami no akumu." You said as the black water around you rose up and charged at Ichigo, making a huge wave of darkness.

It was going faster than what Ichigo thought it would and rose his sword up to protect himself as the water hit his foot as images of his past filled his mind as he drowned in the wave. The memory of his mother dying and you almost dying filled his mind as he felt nothing but misery.

Ichigo screamed as it started sucking the spirit energy out of him as he tried fighting out of the wave, but couldn't as each image filled his mind and drowned him deeper and deeper into the water. He was choking on water just as you released him from the wave and ran up to him.

Ichigo was shaking all over and started coughing out water as you helped by patting his back. Ichigo slumped forward as you caught him in time and set him down by a rock.

"W-wow... so that's your Shikai... it's powerful..."

"I know but... I don't like how it's around darkness and misery...."

"It's alright (y/n). It's all a part of us... maybe it's just a part of your hollow powers too..."

"Maybe..."

"Hey... why don't we go and eat." Ichigo flashed you smile.

You smiled back and helped him on his feet. "Sure why not. After that training I'm feeling hungry as well."

Urahara chuckled as he opened up the latch to the shop up above. "I could go for some rice right about now."
