-Vikk's POV-
I watch in painful silence as Mitch and Lachlan fall to the ground. They get up awkwardly, and Lachlan goes back to staring at me. Sky is behind me, keeping me upright and 'assessing my wounds'. I don't know what that means, but I'm guessing it has something to do with the holes in me from the guns. It's painful to move, or breathe.
Everyone is here, except for Rob. I can hear feet coming toward us, but I can't speak, or it'll hurt. Mitch says what I wanted to. "We have guards rolling in. We gotta go, like- NOW." Sky mutters something, frustrated, and sits in front of me. "Vikk, this is probably going to hurt. Just relax, and it'll be fine. I'm getting you out of here."
He lifts me up, and he's right. It hurts as he moves me, and it hurts more when he shifts me to his shoulder, a position where my chest is against his shoulder. It hurts really badly, but suddenly, I'm in a very bright room. There's red and gold floors, and I can see Rob in front of us. Ty and everyone else show up behind us. With Rob is a tied up Seto and Brice.
Rob had tried to break them out, clearly, and the ropes were loose. Rob's hand looked red. Sky sets me down, and I'm put on the floor. Ty stands with his knee on my back, so I can sit up. The pain is worse now, and I can see black spots.
I can barely breathe, and my chest hurts. Rob rejoins the group, and soon, Sky has Seto and Brice free. They both rub their wrists, then see me. Sky carefully lifts me again, and runs to the doors. He tries to hold me as still as possible. Sky leaps onto the grass outside, and runs for the gates. Everyone out here is stunned, and the gate is open.
The black spots dance, and my chest hurts more. My head hurts more as well. Sky breaks through the open gates, and bolts smoothly through the city. It's dark out, and almost no one is outside. I crush my face into Sky's shoulder, trying to stop the pain I'm feeling.
An arrow digs into the cracks of the road next to Sky and me. More fall around us, and one falls inches from Sky's foot. Once out of range, Sky disappears, and I go with him. Sky rushes through the doors of a place I'd never seen before. It was a white place, with ladies in white dresses walking around. There were also guys in white coats walking about.
A few saw us, and took me from Sky. They moved me quickly, and it hurt. Sky ran with them as they took me away, but was stopped at a door, and was not allowed through. I watched as he pounded on the glass of the door, until a wall blocked me from him. A mask was put over my face, and I fell asleep.

-Sky's POV-
I had to take Vikk to the hospital. I just had to. He was going to die for real if I hadn't. I teleported Lachlan and the others to me, and Lachlan was completely distraught. He paced the room, waiting for something, anything as news on Vikk.
Finally, a nurse stepped through the door, quite shamefully. I saw her expression, and I felt tears well up. "The child is fine, but he has suffered major trauma, and will likely have trouble with breathing and speech. He had severe muscle trauma around his lungs, which made them weaker. He will have a speech impediment, and his lungs are so weak, it's made him permanently an asthmatic."
"If you wish you may quietly see him in his recovery room. Be careful, and be silent. He's still asleep." With that, she leads us back to a room. She opens the door quietly, and steps away for us to go in. Lachlan goes in first, and he's like a mouse, silent and slow. I go next, and I can see Vikk on the bed.
He's asleep, like the nurse said, but his shirt is all messed up. The diamond on his shirt has holes in it, and so does the rest of the blue shirt. Under the shirt, you can see glimpses of the heavy gauze on his chest. His chest moves slowly, up and down, but it's slower than normal, and shakier. But he looks okay for the most part.
Everyone files in quietly, and we sit there. When he finally wakes, Ty and Anthony had already fallen asleep on the floor. It's 11am, and Vikk's eyes flutter open. It looks painful, but he breathes as deep as he can, and lets it out slowly and shakily. He coughs with the effort.
That just looks more painful, and he lays back in the bed. He whispers, "Lach-lan?" Lachlan's eyes fill with excitement, and he carefully makes his way through the maze of sleeping kids to get to Vikk's bed. He whispers back, "I'm here Vikky. It's okay, I'm here." Vikk smiles and reaches for Lachlan's hand.
Lachlan takes Vikk's hand, and Vikk smiles a bit more. "I- think. That... Was- a bad, idea. Let-s not d-o th-at ag-ain." Lachlan's eyes had tears in them, and he smiled and started to gently laugh. "Yeah, let's not, Vikky." The nurse knocks quietly on the door, and I wave her in.
She makes her way around Ty and Anthony, and sits in a chair next to me. "Make sure he takes these pills, because they'll help the pain. I also have an inhaler for him just in case." She hands me a small L- shaped thing with a cap on the front and a tiny metal air compressor in the top. The inhaler I'm guessing. Then she hands me two blue gel pills. I can see a glass of water next to the bed, so that won't be a problem at all.
I nod and she makes her way out. I travel through the maze of sleeping kids to get to Lachlan and Vikk. I hand Vikk the pills, and the glass. His hands shake, but he holds the glass well enough. I tell him what to do, considering he's 4, and he does so. The pills are over and done with soon enough.
I put the inhaler on the table next to him. Vikk falls back to sleep soon enough. Lachlan crashes on the window sill bench. I sit there until I fall asleep as well around 8pm. But I know Ty and Anthony should wake soon.

-Ty's POV-
I woke up on the floor of the hospital room, and I could see the kids all spread out in an abstract shape, while Sky was asleep in the chair, and Lachlan was in the window. Vikk looked at peace, if not hiding the pain from the bullets. I could see a weird red and white thing on the side table, but I'd deal with that later. I went to the bathroom, and Anthony and I talked quietly while everyone slept. It was fairly silent, and no one really moved.
Morning came, and I crashed first.
(Sorry it's super short. Just wanted to actually tell you what they did... :})

-Lachlan's POV-
I woke up to find Vikk still asleep. Mitch was awake, and so was Rob, but we were the only three awake. There are 10 of us, and only three are awake. Wonderful. We talked for a bit, but conservation grew dark as Rob asked, "Did you really steal?"
I looked at him, a little hurt that he had to bring it up, but he got the answer. "Yes, Rob. I did. We were left by our parents last year, and we had no other way of surviving." "How old were you?" Mitch asked. "I was 4. Vikk was 3. They just, dropped us in the woods behind the village. They didn't look back once." "What happened that made it so hard for Vikk to walk?"
I almost screamed when Mitch asked that. It was such a painful story. I took a few deep breaths, and spoke slowly. "It was only a few weeks after we were left. I had found a nearly broken sword, but it was something, so I ran back to our little camp. I only found Vikk getting run down by a creeper. He was never strong or fast in the first place, so he was about to stop." I took another deep breath.
"The creeper caught him, and I couldn't do anything. I was too far away. The creeper snapped, and trampled him. When the creeper left, I- I ran to Vikk, and he just laid there. I thought he was dead, but then I realized the issue when he tried to get up. He wasn't dead, and the creeper did something to his legs."
Mitch tilted his head. "What did it do?" "It crushed his left leg, and his right foot was twisted. It pretty much ruined any chance he had of walking again. I couldn't fix it, and I didn't want to get caught by police for stealing while trying to get to a hospital, so I just carry him now."
Sky wakes up next to me, and he shakes off his sleep. He put his hair up in the band he's had, and shakes his head again. He looks at us, and frowns, "What's wrong? Lachlan, are you okay?" I realize I'd been crying, and I nod. "I'm fine."
He nods, suspicious, but lets it go. "We should thin out who stays. The poor nurse has to go through a maze of kids to get in and out of the room." "I'm staying." Sky looks at me. "Of course you are. I'm not gonna do that to you or him. But we should have everyone else go back to the house." He slowly makes his way to Seto and Brice, who are sleeping, and he wakes them gently.
Brice sits up, and Sky asks, "Do you two have enough energy for one spell?" Brice mumbles, "Probably... Why?" "I need you two to cast a forcefield around the house when you get there. It'll have to block guards and such. I'm sending the majority of you home so that the nurse doesn't trip and hurt herself or one of you. Okay?" Seto sits up, "Okay. We got it. Forcefield equals no guards knocking. Home equals no hurt nurse or us. Gotcha." I get the boys in a circle, and I have Brice connect the teleportation to Ty and Anthony. I teleport them to Mitch's house, then I teleport back to the hospital.
Vikk is awake, and he's not doing too well. His face is full of pain, and he's struggling to breathe. Lachlan in panicking, so I run to the hall. "I need some help!" A nurse runs in and presses the red button on her lanyard.
She's desperately trying to relax Vikk, but she's failing miserably. "La- Lachlan! Lach-" He's trying to scream for Lachlan, but Lachlan is busy panicking. I stop Lachlan, and push him to Vikk. They both relax, and Vikk takes Lachlan's hand, causing Lachlan to smile.
The nurse looks relieved, but Vikk still isn't ready. His breathing is choppy, and it's not what it should be. A doctor responds to the red button thingy, and comes in. Lachlan is shooed away, and he goes back to panicking. Vikk is taken out of the room, and we wait for an hour before he comes back. No one questions where the others went, so we have no problems.
The nurse once again tells us to be silent, and to not disturb him. She still doesn't know his name, and I'd like to keep it that way. Even I don't know his last name, or if the name I have is a nickname. My name is a nickname... technically speaking. But before the nurse leaves, she hands me a paper. And what's on the paper... I don't like it one bit.
