You're enjoying a nice day outside, sitting at a table outside a restaurant.

Suddenly, a large hammer narrowly misses you and destroys the table you're sitting at.

You turn to see where it came from, thinking it might've been an accident.

You then see a pink hedgehog wearing a red dress glaring at you while having steam come out of her ears.

You now see that you somehow got yourself in a certain girl's bad side.

Today, we're going to see if you, the average person, can survive Amy Rose, Sonic's obsessed stalker.

Amy's backgrounds have been largely unknown due to no mentioning of where her parents are.

According to her bio, Amy was originally a girl interested in luck and fortune telling things, especially tarot card reading.

She eventually heard about Sonic's heroic actions and was immediately interested in the Blue Blur.

She read that her tarot cards said she would meet Sonic at the Little Planet. (Or whatever that place was in CD)

Upon being captured by Metal Sonic, Sonic came to her rescue and defeated Robotnik and his metal counterpart.

Afterwards, Amy fell head over heels with Sonic, to the point it was an unhealthy obsession.

Since then, Amy has been chasing Sonic all over the world, trying to get him to either go on a date or marry her.

There's no telling what you've done to get her wrath.

Maybe you insulted her or Sonic?

Maybe she mistook you for someone else?

(Maybe this is canon to You vs Sonic?)

Or maybe she's chosen you as her new crush and is furious that you didn't show up for your date with her?

Regardless, she's ticked and running at you with her hammer full force.

So what are you up against?

And can you beat her?

To start off, she's always known for not only her dress, but also for the massive Piko Piko Hammer she carries around with her.

The hammer is easily bigger than a sledgehammer, meaning it not hits hard, but is pretty heavy to pick up.

Amy has been swinging it for years, making her probably the most physically strong female in the Sonic franchise.

In Sonic X, she was strong enough to throw her hammer for several miles until it hit Eggman's ship and knocked it over.

You can forget about trying to take that hammer from her if it's so heavy, and you'll probably be just asking for Amy to slam you on the head with it.

Amy is also incredibly fast on her feet, since she's been training herself to chase Sonic, who's several times faster than the speed of sound.

So like Sonic, running is not an option, you'll be worn out by the time you can get to safety.

The great news is that Amy has no known durability feats.

Despite being fast and strong, she's still a glass cannon in the end.

So now you know what you're up against, so how do you beat her?

You know Amy can deal heavy blows, but can't take them in return.

She can out run you, but not forever.

As much as anyone would like to dish out a powerful super weapon and blow her to kingdom come, we're not going to end it like that.

Since Amy could get killed by pretty much anything, ALL weapon recommendations will be taken out.

We're not trying to do the moral high ground, but if Amy can be taken out easily, chances are you don't need to carry a shotgun or an assault rifle to your fight.

We're going to limit your weapons to what the average person could get their hands on.

First up will be a pocket knife, preferably something like a Swiss Army knife or just a simple multiple function knife.

While you can't take on Amy up close so easily, it'll be easier this way in case you need something to get you out of her grip.

Your other weapon should be a regular hand gun or pistol that you could by at either a pawn shop or just a simple gun or hunting store.

Of course, you're going to have to get a license to use one first and make sure to listen to the laws.

Unless of course the government has made guns illegal, then you're doomed.

After you've gotten a hold of both weapons, you're now ready to come at her.

Be sure the battlefield you fight her in is a familiar place.

Once you two start your fight, remember the 5 D's of dodging.

To make the fight easier, try taunting her with different things.

Like how Sonic doesn't love her

Or how pathetic she looks

Once she's enraged, she will lose her focus, making her an easier target for your pistol.

If she does get to close and personal, use your pocket knife to cut her back.

If you haven't been turned to mush at this point, you're probably winning so far.

Just keep trying to wear her out and give her injuries, and you win.

The most dangerous part about this though is how swift she is at delivering hits.

If you don't think you can dodge the hits of an enraged female hedgehog, then don't try to fight her directly.

Instead, try luring her out into the opening and shooting her from your hiding place.

If you're a good aim, then your surprise attack will leave her vulnerable for you to finish this yourself.

Though if she's been chasing you because she wants to be your girlfriend, you can decide for yourself if you could take her or not.

Either way, congratulations! You've survived the rampage of Amy Rose.

Now let's hope you can survive a jealous boyfriend while you're at it.

In summary, Amy may be agressive, but she's no match for everyday weapons.
