It was Thursday, it was dark at night and Y/n came out of a clothing store to return some clothes that didn't fit her well. But since it was cold, she was wearing some clothes to keep her warm.

As she was walking, she passed by two people which took a liking of her and began to turn to her direction without noticing a certain person was watching them in the shadows as he started the engine of his Duel Runner.

But when Y/n was walking, she turned around and noticed those two guys who she passed by were following her. "Hey baby, where are you going~?" Asked one of the guys. Y/n was terrified and decided to make a run for it until those guys decided to run after her. She tried to run as fast as she can to get away from those guys until she tripped causing her to fall.

But before Y/n had the chance to get up, she turns around in fear and noticed those guys have already catch up to her as they approach in front of her.

"Well, well, well. Look what have we here" "I know, a cute girl trying to run away from us. Looks like we need to teach you a lesson~" Both of them were about to grab Y/n until they heard another voice. "Hey!" Both of them turned around and saw another male. He was running towards them but gave them a few punches and kicks, much to Y/n's shock.

"Get away from her!" He yelled as he gave them one last kick until both of them were on the ground. Y/n was lost on words until he approached to her and grabs her hand. "Let's go!" He replies as he runs while holding Y/n's hand tightly, Y/n did the same by holding his hand tightly as she didn't look back.

After minutes of running away, Y/n and her rescuer stopped for a bit as the man looks back to make sure he lost sight of those guys which he did. "Are you alright?" "Y-Yeah... I think I am, thank you" Y/n thanked the man as she bows her head to show her gratitude until he lifts her face up, "They didn't hurt you, did they?" "N-No... not at all." Y/n replied as she continued to stare at him, he looked serious.

'Wow, he's.... something' Y/n couldn't help herself but stare at him for who knows how long as if she was possessed until she was snapped back to reality. "I believe we haven't introduced ourselves, haven't we?" Question the man until Y/n shook her head as a way to say 'no'. "Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Yusei Fudo." "I'm.. Y/n (M/n) L/n." Y/n replied, they were staring at each other for a while until Yusei broke the eye contact by grabbing Y/n's hand which left her confused. "Yusei?" Asked Y/n but he didn't replied back which left her worried.

~Minutes later~

They kept walking until Yusei made a stop but for Y/n, she bumped into him and began to wonder why he stopped. But before she was able to ask, Yusei spoke, "We're here" This left Y/n confused as she noticed him looking in a different direction so she look at the same direction but once she did, she was awed and speechless of what she was seeing.

She never knew the city looked so beautiful in the night, "Wow, it's... beautiful..." "I figured you'll like it. That's why I brought you here" He replied. "But... why? We just barely met and you saved me from an unexpected fate" Y/n asked as Yusei turned to face her "It's true that we met... but, I'm sure you've never seen the city so beautiful in the night, right?" "No.. I have- Hey, wait a minute! What does that have to do with my question?" Y/n asked until Yusei answer it with a small laugh, "Well, I don't know about you but I rather enjoy this view, don't you think?" Y/n noticed her face was turning bright red by that smile of his as she nodded and continued to watch the view.

It's been like an hour or so that they been watching the view until Y/n remembers that she needed to head home. "I just remembered, I... I have to go now and thank you, again" But before Y/n could walked away, Yusei stopped her, "Wait, would you like me to take you home?" "You already done so much for me but, are you sure?" "I insist" Yusei answered as he grabbed her hand again head to another direction. "Wait, where are we going?" "To my Duel Runner. It's the only way to get you home quick."

Once they arrived at Yusei's Duel Runner, Y/n was amazed of it as Yusei went to his Duel Runner, grabs his helmet and an extra helmet for Y/n. "Here" Replies Yusei as he throws the helmet to Y/n before putting his own helmet on.

"Hop on, Y/n" "Oh, o-okay" Y/n went in the Duel Runner after putting the helmet on and holds onto Yusei tightly. And with that, Yusei started the engine of his Duel Runner and they head off. Yusei needed Y/n's help to show him the location of where she lives. During the ride, she lifts her head up and looks at the sky.

It looked really beautiful that she couldn't help but smile at the starry night and stare at it for a long time without realizing that they've already arrived at her home. "We're here" Yusei replied as Y/n got off the Duel Runner and head home. But before she did, she turned around to Yusei and bowed her head down, "Thank you... for everything, Yusei" "It was the least I can do and by the way..." Yusei got off the Duel Runner and started to approach Y/n which made her blush uncontrollably as he grabbed both of her hands, "I hope we meet again, someday" "Same here" Answered Y/n as she and Yusei stared at each other in the eyes.

For Y/n, she couldn't believe how Yusei's eyes shine so bright in the night and his eyes resembles so much like the night sky. Sadly, they let go of each other's hands as Yusei head back to his Duel Runner while Y/n heads straight to the front door. She takes one last look at Yusei, he smiled at her before heading off.

Once Y/n entered the house and change into her pajamas, she couldn't stop fantasizing him, nor could she forget the color of those night sky eyes of his or the smile that made her feel... safe. 'Yugi, Yami, Jaden and now, Yusei... but he looked so caring, brave, kind and... very handsome' She thought and after changing, she went straight to bed and began to wonder in her dreamland.
