Nikki's Third P.O.V.
The end of the day

Nicole, who goes by the name of Nikki, stood in front of the trophy cases dedicated to every Wrestler of the Year since the beginning of World Wrestling Federation - now known as World Wrestling Entertainment.

Nikki tucked in her shoe laces, wanting to see her name in this trophy case:

^Nikki's outfit^

The feeling was broken when she noticed something that made her blood boil:

A.J. Styles - 2018, 2017 and 2016.

Scoffing, Nikki eyes turned very envious, "Favoritism at its finest..." she mumbled.

She wanted to win it this year.

She smiled seeing John's name as her eyes scanned across the engraved words printed into the golden trophies placed behind the wrestler's photos in tiny frames.

"Since 1972 the award has gone to men. Very annoying if you ask me..."

Nikki cracked her neck annoyingly, hearing the voice now standing beside her. If it's one thing she hated was the complaints of the women here. Be lucky you're given the opportunity to wrestle in this school, "Maybe because issa male-dominated company? Ya think about that, Lexi?" She turned to face the younger, shorter girl.

Alexa Bliss cocked her head, staring at Sting's trophy, who won Wrestler of the Year in 1990. He beat his competitors: Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan and Lex Luger that year. News said Hogan wasn't happy, nearly walking out the company because of his anger.

"And that's the problem, don't you think? The unfair treatment we're minimized to accepting. Look at how everybody did AJ. She had a breakdown 'cause of her mental illness - crazy. Dolph trashes the place and throws a baby fit over losing the tournament - is immediately understood. Do you see what I see?" Alexa nonchalantly let out a breath of air, becoming envious seeing the male dominated case. AJ was the division's hope to breaking the repeated cycle, but they drove her away.

Nikki withheld the laugh daring to escape her mouth. Not only did she find the comparison pretty bizarre and reaching, she hated AJ with every emotion in her heart. AJ was the same one who took her chance of winning the Divas Championship during one of the tournaments, making it clear she wanted to block Nikki out the title picture.

Also, in class AJ was a know-it-all freak who worked her nerves. If Nikki could, she would take a lunch tray and slap the girl with her.

Call her heartless but she found AJ's breakdown funny. She got what was coming to her. They should have kept her locked away and not brought her back.

Vince's favoritism over AJ angered Nikki.

Nikki's anger got in the way of her thoughts, "AJ is a bipolar lunatic who was easily jealous and insecure over Dolph talking to his friend girls. She hated the friendship I had with John when they were dating and has been out to get me since!" Nikki nearly shouted but calmed her voice knowing she would get called to the main office for it.

She gave fellow 12th graders, Fandango and Becky, a glance as they came over to check out the trophy case. Becky let out a chuckle seeing A.J.'s pictures in a row.

"I'm going to change that," Nikki heard Becky tell Fandango and the couple walked away to join the busy hallway.

Alexa squeezed her books, "People are dying and you're crying over boy problems. And forgive me if I'm wrong, but didn't you and John flirt behind AJ's back? When she ended up in the hospital and instead of checking on her, you used it as a chance to talk to John. You lot are the most vile teenagers I've ever seen... besides the murderers and the rapists... okay, I take that back. You guys are just pitiful,"

"And you are? Is Torrie Wilson our school councilor, or is it you?" Nikki quickly shot back. She knew deep down she was in the wrong for what she did to AJ but she would never admit it.

Her pride wouldn't let her.

Alexa didn't seem fazed one bit by the insult, "So? Our minds are our known enemies. Crying will not help you. If you have a problem you have to solve it. If you can't solve it the Google way than solve it the longer way," she said, using this as her way to leave Nikki and not continue this conversation with her.

Nikki twisted the ends of her hair. What Alexa said upset the girl but she wasn't going to let it bother her. Just like how she wasn't going to let AJ being back bother her.

AJ took enough of her joy away.

Nikki wasn't going to allow her to take anymore.

Jeff Hardy's Third P.O.V.

Jeff took the cigarette out his mouth and exhaled as a feeling of relief hit him. Corey put his beer back in the paper bag, throwing it as he slid down the wall. Corey and his woman, Carmella, are on bad blood right now. They always are nowadays.

"Women are fucking insane! One moment they're perfectly fine and dolly then the next moment they snap on us like we did something wrong. How was I supposed to know it was her pop's birthday? I have different things stored in my brain!" He complained.

Holding back the urge to tell him to shut the hell up, Jeff drunk some more of the beer they stole out the corner store.

"You know how Leah is man. She's sensitive. She's like Tiffany. Taryn cried when Kelly became friends with Michelle when they were little. Except unlike Leah, Tiff isn't a hypocrite," Jeff always explained Carmella's personality by comparing her to his girlfriend's, Tiffany.

Jeff personally wasn't a fan of Carmella. He didn't like her attitude, he did like her judgement, and he's 100% sure she has a black girl fetish - more like she has a yearning feeling for the black culture.

He reached for Jeff's cigarette and Jeff passed it to him. Honestly, him and his chick are always having problems now. Jeff wished they'll get their crap together; he wouldn't have to worry about laying hands on any one she tried getting to jump Corey.

"It's stupid as hell. I know her parents' birthdays are a big deal to her but it's not like I forgot her birthday!" said an aggravated Corey.

Okay, Jeff agreed with him on that, "Dude, you said she's on her period. Those periods be having females spazzing out. Just chill. Your dumbass did forget to pick her up," Jeff snorted at the end. He'd be pissed, too, if he depended on you for a ride and you made him walk on his first day back to school.

Corey took another puff, "I felt like ditching today and I knew she'd yell at me. I didn't want to hear it. I'll make it up to her. Buy her some flowers and chocolate and she'd be in my arms again," he said, passing it back to Jeff.

He wasn't lying.

Leah forgave him easily. Matt once told Jeff she needed to stop and get away from Corey. He went on a rant about the lack of protection girls had dealing with guys like him and he was worried something will happen to her.

But as much as she's annoying, Jeff wouldn't allow that.

He's not having that on his conscience.

Thank You For Reading

She clearly favors Jeff, ugh.

I've had this book since 2017 and haven't been satisfied with it yet. But it's nearly 2021 and I have to finish this story.

Um, anyways, I just wanted to say some things will be changed about some of the characters and I'm writing most of their personalities like their gimmicks.

Thank you for giving this book a chance and I love you all! 💜

4 chapters in - do you have any favorite characters so far? It's alright if you don't!

Love You All
