"David?" I guess while gazing at the blonde man in front of me. The man simply smirks and his friends laugh softly among themselves.

"I can be however you want me to be, darling," The man flirts as he looks me up and down. Before I can answer back, Edgar is pulling me back and away from the man I swore was once a friend of mine.

I never tear my eyes away from the man as my little brother guides me back to our home.

"I swear that was David.." I mumble as we enter the store, not intending for anyone to hear it. Edgar sighs and rubs my back.

"I'm sorry, Zig, but the dude was a douchebag for getting you hooked then disappearing like that, you gotta get over him one day,"

"Edgar's right, for once, Ziggy, he was no good, there are plenty of guys out there who want you, but you're so keen on this guy you met once," Alan continues.

I sigh and excuse myself. I walk up the stairs to my room. I crawl into the rough bed sheets and curl up, thinking of David and the man on the motorcycle and if they were the same person or not. They shared the similar features. Almost identical, besides the hair length and facial hair. But they can grow.

Eventually, all my over thinking soon made my head spin and exhausted. And soon the relief of sleep took over me.

The next day, Sam rushes into the store, searching frantically. "Sam? You alright?" Soon Edgar and Alan join me as we approach Sam.

"Oh Ziggy, Edgar, Alan! The dog chased my mom like the Hounds of Hell from Vampires Everywhere!" Sam says he clung onto my shoulders.

"Excuse me?"

"We've been aware of some vampire activity in this town for some time now," Edgar informs Sam.

"Oh stop it! Just because a dog chased Lucy, doesn't mean it's a vampires dog, alright?! There are plenty of untamed dogs-" I start looking between all three boys with an annoyed expression.

"No Ziggy! Mike's a vampire! Or half of one at least!" Sam exclaims.

"Sammy, you've been reading too much of that stupid com-"

"No! I know what I saw, he was flying! And my dog! Nanook, she bit him, and she wouldn't hurt a fly, trust me!"

"We've got to kill your brother," Alan deadpans.

"No he's a half vampire! If we kill the head vampire, all half vampire would turn back," Sam persuades.

"Well, does he know who the head vampire is?" Edgar asks to be answered with a shake of the head from Sam. "Then well have to kill him."

"What about Max? He always goes home late and works at night. And it was his dog that chased Lucy. And all this started after Lucy got the job at Max's video store. Could be him?" I suggest.

"We'll check Max out for you Sam," After a few minutes, Sam leaves.

"Boys? Could you teach me a bit more about vampires?"

The boys share a glance and start to grin. Each boy grabs my hand and drags me down to their room after closing up the store.

Edgar pushes the wooden door open and I am greeted with a large shrine of vampire protection gear.

"Oh boy."
