Aleta, Raven, Sarai, and Freya were still working on the pod. They needed multiple parts in order to get the thing working and it was frustrating, to say the least. "You're surprisingly good at this, Aleta," Raven commented with a small smirk. "Yeah, well, my dad is an engineer. I picked up a few things," Aleta responded.

"You do know that engineers and mechanics aren't the same thing, right?" Sarai asked.

"Yes, Sarai, I know. But they're similar and I can hold my own, thank you very much," Aleta replied with an eye roll. Freya sighed and put down the wrench she was holding. "I'm a lot better with computers," the redhead muttered.

Abby walked into the room then. "How soon can you get this thing ready to drop?" The woman asked as soon as she entered. "We're still scraping up parts to fabricate a pressure regulator. We got two more days, right?" Raven answered as she continued to work. "Can we launch without that part?" Abby asked sounding urgent. Her tone made Aleta stop working.

"We could launch, but we'll be dead before we get to the ground. And I mean bad dead. Ruptured lungs, air bubbles in the brain. We need that part. Why? What's wrong? Did something change?" Raven said, pausing and putting down the tool she's holding. Abby turned away from the girls and sighed. "Clarke's wristband signal went out," she told them.

Aleta's breath hitched in fear and she walked closer to Abby. "But that doesn't mean anything, right?" She asked in concern. "Yeah, she could've taken it off like the rest of them," Raven added. Abby didn't say anything and Aleta frowned. "Okay. I can get a pressure regulator. Today," Raven informed as she began to walk away from them and to the exit.

"How?" Abby and Aleta asked in unison. "The less you know the better," Raven replied and she left the room. A minute later, Abby left as well. "Do you think Clarke's okay?" Aleta asked worriedly. She began pacing in front of her two friends who frowned in response. "Come on, it's Clarke. She's always okay," Freya answered softly.

"Yeah. She probably just took off her wristband," Sarai commented. Aleta wasn't sure if they were trying to convince her or themselves. Either way, she was far from convinced. "But what if she didn't? What if something happened and she's dead?" Aleta questioned. "Stop. Don't think like that. Clarke is fine," Sarai assured firmly. The three sat quietly for a while before Freya spoke. "Come on, let's go," she said. "Go where?" Sarai questioned curiously. "Anywhere. This place is stressing me out," Freya responded.

The girls left and aimlessly walked around Mecha Station. None of them said anything, just walking in a soothing silence. Aleta relished in the quiet and sighed contently. When they finally decided to go back to working on the pod, Raven and Abby had already returned.

"Where have you guys been?" Raven asked in annoyance. "I could really use the help."

"We went for a walk. Is that a crime?" Aleta replied. Raven rolled her eyes. "Just get over here and help me," she deadpanned.

"Where did you get the pressure regulator?" Sarai exclaimed in shock as her eyes landed on the object. "It doesn't matter. You guys should get to work. We're running out of time," Abby replied in exasperation. "Aye aye captain," Freya saluted. The three girls joined Raven and Abby continued to pace in front of them.

"Abby, how about I pace in the operating room the next time you're working?" Raven said in slight annoyance. Abby stopped pacing and glanced in Raven's direction. "Abby, did you take morphine from the clinic?" Jackson's voice was heard from a tablet. Abby picked it up quickly, "They inventoried already?" She asked him in concern.

"No. Kane was just here. He's on his way to Mecha to arrest you, Raven, and anyone else involved. You gave Nygel morphine?" He explained. "She turned me in," Abby muttered in disbelief. "How much longer?" She then asked the girls.

"Twenty minutes," Sarai answered. "They're gonna be here in five. No matter what happens, you launch that pod. Do you understand?" Abby said to Raven before turning to the other three girls. "You three need to get out of here now."

"I'm not going without you," Raven said. "Yeah and we're not leaving," Sarai added. "You have to. Both of you go, right now. If you get caught, they'll float you without a second thought. Please go now," Aleta pressed.

"What about you? They'll float you too if they catch you," Freya replied in concern. "Don't worry about me. Just go, take the back way and don't get caught," Aleta replied. She gave them both hugs and they quickly left. "You and Aleta will both go. The second you find those kids, you radio back. Three hundred innocent people will die if you don't. Aleta, you make sure Clarke is okay," Abby said urgently.

"Abby, they'll float you," Aleta whispered. "Then they'll float me," Abby replied. She took Aleta's hand and pulled her into a hug. When she pulled away, she hugged Raven. "Tell Clarke I love her," Abby choked out, on the verge of tears. Aleta willed herself not to cry. "If you get the chance, tell my parents that I'm sorry. And that I love them," Aleta said and Abby nodded quickly.

The girls entered the pod in order to make sure everything is working properly. Raven was fiddling with the pressure regulator when she realized that Nygel gave them a bad part. "What are we gonna do?" Aleta asked worriedly. Raven thought it over for a moment and turned her head. She looked at the space suits and pointed to them. Aleta nodded and the two girls exited the pod to go get suited up for the drop. They quickly got dressed in the space suits and reentered the pod, strapping themselves in.

Raven flipped a few switches and began turning things on. "If we die, I'll never forgive you," Aleta said, releasing a heavy breath. She is terrified.

Raven laughs nervously. "We're not gonna die," she reassured but Aleta didn't believe her. Raven flipped one more switch and held her finger over a button.

"You ready?" She questioned. Aleta shook her head, "Not even close. But push the button anyway." Raven nodded and pushed the button. Nothing happened at first and Aleta glanced at Raven with wide eyes. But then there was a jolt and the pod ejected. The two hurtles quickly through space. Aleta felt the air leave her lungs and she struggled to breathe. The pod produced a deafening beeping noise in her ear that made her even more terrified.

Raven was frantically pressing buttons and trying to get everything under control. She successfully did so and the beeping began to subside. Aleta got her breathing under control as the pod continued to flip and turn every which way. "It's okay," Raven shouted trying to comfort Aleta as well as herself. It didn't help.

They were both breathing heavily as Raven finally regained full control of the pod. Raven and Aleta both sighed in relief. "See? I told you," Raven breathed out. "Shut up, Raven," Aleta gasped, leaning her head back against her headrest. It felt as though they were descending smoothly and Aleta relaxed, though not completely.

She began to think about her parents. She wondered if they knew now that she was gone. If anyone had told them. She hoped they wouldn't freak out but she knew they would. "I shouldn't have come. This was a mistake. My parents are gonna kill me," Aleta mumbled. "It's too late to turn back now. And they can't kill you from space," Raven replied and Aleta glared at her.

"Okay. RCS valve, open. RCS thrust pressure good. Attitude, good. Heat shield, good," Raven said quietly to herself as she checked everything over.

"Aleta, not good," Aleta said and Raven rolled her eyes. "Okay. Don't blow up," Raven muttered. She pushed a lever forward and the pod sped up causing Aleta to jolt forward. The two girls were jolted around their seats, the only thing keeping them from flying all over the place being their seatbelts.

Aleta groaned and grabbed the other lever. Both girls desperately tried to get the pod under control while simultaneously trying not to die. Aleta could feel her breathing pick up as the fear began to creep back into her body. The pod hit the atmosphere and became even more unstable and chaotic. "Oh God. We're gonna die," Aleta screamed.

Raven was obviously just as terrified as her friend but tried to remain calm. "Since we're gonna die, I just want to say that you've been such a good friend to me and I love you. Thanks for always being there for me," Raven yelled to Aleta.

"You're not making me feel better Raven," Aleta yelled back. "Oh shut up and be sentimental, we're about to die," Raven snapped loudly. "Okay. I love you Birdy and I hope that you live so that you can see Finn again," Aleta exclaimed.

The pod hurtled faster and faster toward the ground. Aleta closed her eyes and squeezed them tightly shut. She held out her hand and Raven grabbed it, squeezing it tightly. The pod jerked around some more causing Aleta to hit her head on the side of the pod really hard. Her vision blurred temporarily, her hand slipping from Raven's as the pod finally hit the ground.

As it did, Aleta hit her head again and slipped into unconsciousness.
