author's notes

my favourite part of the aesthetics of this book is that the opening gif, around the quote about chaos, changes its pattern depending on when it loads. sometimes they'll be in perfect synch, sometimes they'll be in utter chaos. which is quite fitting for this book. anyway, onto the details! 

OPINIONS:
opinions are optional, as per usual, though very fun and useful for me. if you want to just copy and paste your opinion from your form for nixie, go ahead! if you want to make some changes, do that too! 

head canons, love interests, crushes, hates, intermingling backstories are all greatly welcomed in the opinions! feel free to info dump and give me any information you want about your character and their relationship to another. 

SIDE CAST:
the side cast in list form (as opposed to aesthetically laid out) are only different because i don't predict a chapter from their point of view, or a role that is mentioned significantly more than twice. i think the "main" side cast is important to differentiate because they will play more complex roles. also the list of "side" side cast is going to be ever-growing, so it's easier for me and less for you to read.

i will have changed some things with the side cast's backstories or roles for the plot, but their personalities will remain the same. let me know if that's an issue, and i'm happy to work around it!  

an important note here is that a lot of side characters will be surfacing much later in the story. to be fair, they're all dead, and will only show up in flashbacks, but still, they'll have screen time later. there are some characters in the forms that i'm considering adding in, but i can't say for certain. so even if you don't see your character here, don't completely vanish! i might pull them out of a hat for some dramatic flair. 

plus, i had the idea of writing bonus chapters once the book is done, so that's always a possibility too! we'll see how far i get with this one T-T especially with school looming over my shoulder. god, i wish i had an eternal summer to just write. anyway. 

EXTRA:
another highly important note: do not call spellmeyer "leslie". i've been warned, and now you shall all be warned as well. if i see a "leslie" in the comments and you're not channeling harvey jones as a joke, then i will personally maul your character. (i'm kidding about the threat but DO NOT call him leslie it's a thing)

yes, there are some clues about storylines and plot twists hidden in the graphics. if you know anything secret (i'm looking at about three specific people right now) try not to spoil anything in the comments! i want to surprise as many people as i am. the shock factor gives me motivation to write LMAO

but that being said, i love theories. i would love multiple full-length comments about what you predict for the story. i will always just reply with an ominous smiley face, but i enjoy them beyond your comprehension. all in all, as every author wants, please do conjure your craziest theories.

thank you so, so much. from the bottom of my heart, truly, thank you. every time i make an applyfic, i'm always stunned at the amount of people who put in so much work to make so many intricate characters. it's honestly the most touching thing. and i can assure you, your work never goes in vain. i'm getting all flowery and cheesy but really, i want to say thank you. 

and i'm honestly sorry i can't include every application i got, i desperately want to every time, as you can tell by my massive side casts. (i've yet to make an applyfic without them) but i've got to prioritise what i can do, as opposed to what i want to do, and even now i'm pushing it out of pure dedication to you guys and to the characters.
